We’re leaving for our honeymoon 2 days after the wedding.  I wanted to relax the day after we get married (and pack) before flying out.

we’re like something blue. I was married in January and i leave for my honeymoon a week today!! If i had the chance to do it again i would definitely do it a little bit closer (i’m more than ready for a break!) but taking a couple of days after the wedding is a good idea. I was EXHAUSTED for 2-3 days after the wedding and definitely wouldn’t have enjoyed travelling and probably wouldn’t have made the most of my holiday.

A couple of days between (as long as your not in work!) seems a good plan to me ๐Ÿ˜€

We aren’t leaving till the next Saturday. I work in accounting so the first of the month is so hard to be off work. My boss can cover me the two days before the wedding but couldn’t handle everything the week after. So we are just going to wait. Plus this way we get to go for 7 days, Sat to Sat. If we went right after we couldn’t leave till Monday since our wedding is 4 hours from where we leave, so we need Sunday to drive back and all.

Plus my photographer puts up teasers on Monday and then a mini slideshow on Friday, so totally will be worth the wait ๐Ÿ™‚

OUr current plan is to get married on Saturday and then leave on Monday or Tuesday.  We’re planning to do a Mother’s Day Lunch on Sunday, and kinda wanted a day to recover and pack.

The current plan is to take a road trip to New Orleans and then along the gulf coast.  We figure we’re far enough out that it should be clean (we hope).  If not we’ll look at a plan b.

We’re getting married Saturday and flying out on Monday. I did NOT want to wake up early the day after the wedding ๐Ÿ™‚

We haven’t discussed the honeymoon yet, but I doubt we’ll go straight after the wedding as it’s unlikely we’ll be able to take time off at that point. Maybe near the holidays. Smile

We are waiting three months between the wedding and the honeymoon. I also won’t be changing my name until after the honeymoon because I don’t trust the government to update my passport by the time we leave and I’m not paying them an arm and a leg to rush it.

No big deal to me. I will still be Mrs. T in my heart and to my friends.

We’re having a few days after the wedding before going on honeymoon. It’s going to be stressful enough with the wedding without having to do frantic honeymoon packing as well!

We get married on a Saturday and our Alaskan cruise leaves on Tuesday (although we fly in to Seattle – the port city – on Monday night).

We’re leaving for our honeymooon the following summer after our wedding. It’s a wedding present from FI’s parents, and I’ll be in the middle of midterms when I get married!

We’re getting married in October and going on our honeymoon to Aruba in December.  A few reasons:

1) Hurricane season in October

2) Easier for me to take time off from work in December.

We may do a “mini”moon the weekend of our wedding since we’re getting married on a Friday.

My first wedding, the only time we could schedule the honeymoon was about 6 weeks after the only time we could schedule the wedding.  I was working full-time and going to law school 3/4 time, and I went back to both work and school on the Monday following our Sunday wedding.

Second wedding, we didn’t take a honeymoon.

Were going to honeymoon  two months after we get married.  I’ll be in school and it works best for us.  Grad school is crazy and I can’t imagine taking a whole week or two off.

Fiance will be finishing up a semester in school when we get married, so we’re doing a minimoon the Sunday-Wednesday after our wedding.

Once finals are done the following month, we’re heading for 7 nights at Excellence Playa Mujeres.
