We aren’t going on our honeymoon until about 2 months after our wedding. We’re both in grad school so we are waiting until our winter break. Plus, January is a good time to get out of MN!

We are leaving 4 days after our wedding because we have guests from out of town who will be in the area until Monday and we would like to see them off. We leave on Wednesday.

We are getting married on a Saturday morning, spending Saturday night with all of our family (we live 13 hours away from everyone). Sunday my Future Mother-In-Law & Future Father-In-Law are doing a brunch, then we are driving home (13 hours) spending Sunday night at home, then leaving on Monday for a few days at the beach.

Going to wait a week after our wedding, we want some time to get organized before we leave.

We are getting married on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 but not going on our honeymoon till the week of December 4-12th, 2010!

Our reasons are simply that the location we are going (Walt Disney World, FL) is much cooler/better weather then, WDW is absolutely beautiful during the holidays, and I am off for the entire month of December anyways from work (I work for a non-profit and for budgetary reasons, we close our program for the entire month of December every year….) 🙂

My family will be flying here for our wedding and we will show them some places in Europe after our wedding. So, there’s no honeymoon planned, at least not after the wedding. 🙂
