@Take The Reins:  My girls and I are heading up to a friend’s parents’ lakehouse for the weekend.  Good wine, good friends… good food… and some chick flicks and sun.  I am 30 so the wild night out just isn’t really my scene.  Instead I am opting fro a nice girls’ weekend away!

I told my friends I don’t want one, but they refuse to accept that.

If I have to have one, my perfect day would be sitting on the beach, dinner and drinks at night, and some type of show or something after that. Or another idea is a spa day with the girls, but that can become costly so I didnt even suggest that!

Truthfully, just spending time with the girls would be fun πŸ™‚

Good fellowship, laughter, chick flicks, girl time talk, food, and all that good stuff πŸ™‚ It’s not like getting married will separate me from my friends so there is no need to act like its the last night of my life. I look forward to celebrating my upcoming marriage with the people I love in an intimate way!

A big group of us are renting a lakehouse on lake michigan.  I’m sure there will be ample drinking but the typical clubbing bachelorette party is not my style.

Im 20 but not into all that party party stuff. We are going to stay in a hotel one night and swim at the pool, have my lingerie party, have my passion party, and go out to dinner then watch chick flicks and have cake and relax πŸ™‚ We will be drinking ofcourse but not going out and drinking.

There will be no penis hats, obnoxious drunk people, etc. at mine. I’ve asked for something quiet and fun that my 7 months pregnant friend will be able to enjoy. I suggested pedis and lunch, a cooking class, or something else along those lines. My Maid/Matron of Honor said she has a plan that will fit perfectly with my desire for something low key and preggo-friendly.

Mine will definitely not be “obnoxious.” It will be either a nice girls-night-in (with alcohol!) or dinner and barhopping, but nothing too rowdy!

We are headed to the spa!  I never go, I don’t have the money and making an @ss of myself in public is a waste of money to me.  πŸ™‚  Plus, if my mom comes, I would prefer penis shaped items not be there.

@red_rose: Same! I don’t want to be trashed and obnoxious. But there will be liquor, and there probably will be a bar or two and dinner somewhere. Just a close group of girls, and a whole lot of fun.

I wanted to have a massive sleepover complete with the worst/best chick flicks, outrageous hair, lots of food, bad singing, lots of dancing, pink everywhere and not a drop of alcohol or penis anything.

I highly doubt it’ll happen though.

A good group of girlfriends and I rented a house where we went to college.  We made dinner there, drank and opened gifts, and went out to the bars.  Honestly, I was probably the most sober one, which made a few friends mad πŸ™‚  I just preferred spending the time with my girlfriends more than getting wasted doing bachelorette scavanger hunts or anything embarrassing!

    For the record…I’m only 24.
