dude, i totally want to look HOT amazing beautiful and 2,000 times better than i do on a “regular” basis ๐Ÿ™‚ the most i do day-to-day is fix up my hair. no makeup, no maintenance. so on my wedding day, who cares if i don’t necessarily “look like myself”. i see weddings as an opportunity to look and feel your best. plus, photos are the only thing you can really take with you right? might as well do your best to look awesome in them!

I just want to look thin and pretty. Which may happen, if someone has a magic camera.

Hahaha! Love it! I am totally on board too. At my wedding I did my own make-up, but I had the make-up artists apply my false lashes. She had a selection and I told her to pick the biggest, most dramatic ones! Loved looking totally glam.

I wanted to look the best that I can look.  When I told people after my makeup trial that they should do it for their wedding all I kept hearing was “i’m probably not going to do it cuz I want to look like myself”.  It’s you’re wedding day.  When else are you going to be able to get all glammed up? (unless you’re a movie star)

I didn’t want to be everyday Jamie… This is everyday me.

This is bride Jamie…

I’m glad I went glam, even with all the fake lashes and makeup it was still me under there, dammit! lol now if only I could look like bride Jamie everyday! haha

I love this thread, because I TOTALLY want to look like a super glam version of myself – especially since I’m usually so plain, don’t wear makeup and all that. Hopefully even ‘natural’ makeup on me will make me look different.

Loving all the pictures on here too – you look smoking, ladies!

I am right there with the OP and PPs too! If it were up to Fiance, I wouldn’t even get my hair done–just straighten it and wear it the same as I do any other day. HELL no. We are currently battling it out over updo vs. half up half down. I’m sorry dear, but we get ONE day to look abso-freaking-lutely amazing and be the center of attention, and I am NOT going to look like I do to go to the grocery store.

Haha..Yup..I agree!  The more make up, the more glam the better – I got alot of great compliments – and I just looked like a better version of myself – I loved my wedding make-up so much I want to hire a professional to do my make up everyday – since that isn’t reasonable, I’m thinking about an airbrush machine.  Here are some pics!
