So I am a short haired bride…. And I have always known that I was not a tradtional bride who wanted a traditional veil
I thought I was dead set on a Birdcage till when shopping for a brooch I tried one on… I hated it one me & so did FH!
He did however try on me a flower and feather fascinator and he loved the look of just it…
I also have a very pretty headband/tiara that my sister wore that I am considering.
I would love to hear what other brides are wearing expecially short haired brides.
I would love some picture inspiration as well

I’m not short haired, but I’m not wearing a veil either. I am going put my hair half up and just add a flower. I think a headband/tiara would be super cute!!!

I’m not short haired either, but I’m not doing a veil. I’m doing a low side knot (I think) with a fascinator. I tried a veil on when I went dress shopping and didn’t like the look on me.

i think a simple flower or hair adornment is quite nice! I bought an ivory flower from etsy, it was lovely.. but on the day of, my hair stylist literally plucked 2 from my bouquet and jammed them in my hair, haha. So, i have an extra fascinator if you need one!

How a birdcage veil looks has a lot to do with how “classical” the shape of your face is. I like fascinator better because they require more charisma in order to be worn properly.
Personally, i’ve decided to wear a traditional veil (birdcage veils and fascinators didn’t match my gown!) but I’m in love with this beauty:

No veil for me. (Though I do want to try on a birdcage just in case). I think a flower/fascinator is always fabulous. I think nothing would look pretty good too.

Well I am still leaning towards a birdcage but haven’t tried one on yet. Another idea I am throwing out and debating is for a juilet cap. You can either wear it with a veil or just plain with adornment. They are vintage and classic IMO
