I have decided after looking for veils for a few months that I do not want to spend so much money on something that I will honestly wear for maybe 20 minutes. What I would like to know is, you ladies that are NOT wearing a veil or blusher, what are you wearing? A tiara? A pretty headband? Please share! I’d LOVE to see pics as well!

Right now I’m divided between wearing a very simple elbow-length veil or an ornate hair comb I am borrowing from my cousin.

I’n not! Not because of money but because I think they are ugly. I’ll be wearing a fabric flower most likey.

I don’t think I’m going to. I’m opting for a fun hair piece, something like this:

I’m not wearing a veil and have never had any desire to. I might wear a flower instead but am undecided at this point.

I didn’t wear a veil, I wore a huge pink orchid in my hair instead. Veils are very pretty, but just not for me at all.

I’m not wearing a veil. I have always known I wouldn’t wear one. I did try them on with my dress to make sure and it wasn’t me at all. I am wearing a cute headband instead!

I’m probabaly going to skip the veil too. May a large flower, or a few little ones, or something…

Not me either! It’s just not my style. I’ll just wear a big natural flower on my hair for the reception, and then a similar clay one for the ceremony.

No veil or blusher for me. I’m going to wear a lightly decorated headband.

@Droid: Flower is a great idea! But I was thinking of having my BM’s wear a flower, do you think it’d be too much?
I am glad to know I am not alone! When I told my friends they thought I was crazy! LOL

Do you ladies think it would be too simple if i just work a sparkly hair clip in the back of my hair?

I’ll share both my sister’s weddings…neither wore veils…it was my sister’s first wedding and my step-sister’s encore wedding 🙂
