@megan331979:  My sister ordered her bridesmaid dress from JJs house and it was awful. I do not recommend them. She ordered a lace dress and the bottom was all clumpy and the bust was very stiff.

I hope your dress turns out better than my sister’s though. Please post pics!

@megan331979:  I looked into them but eventually took the plunge and ordered from Dressilyme. turned out beautiful. Good luck. Any of those sites are always a risk. Sometimes it pays off.

@megan331979:  My mother got the dress she wore to my wedding from that site. I was initially skeptical but all her work friends talked up the site so she was sold. The measurments was the only scary part since you have to measure yourself and obviously we are no experts haha. Luckily hers came our great and she just had to get the bottom hemmed. She ended up loving her dress. Sorry we don’t have any pictures yet.

@megan331979:  I just ordered my second wedding dress  The first one is a pronovias dress, which is beautiful…..just not on me.  The second one I just ordered last week from JJsHouse, and I am waiting with fingers crossed that I like it better than the pronovias which has cost me lots of $$$.

I have had two previous experiences with JJs.  The first one was last year with my daughters prom dress.  Which was custom measurements, and the only thing I did not like about her prom dress was the sequins were kind of cheap looking.  But the overall quality of the dress was teriffic.

The second experience was ordering the girls their second (ordered through Dressy for the first ones) Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses.  The dresses came very fast, and other than one being entirely to large in the bust, the quailty of the dresses are very nice.  Even the seamstress was quite impressed with the workmanship of the dresses.

So I am sitting and waiting for my dress.  I am nervous, and hope that this experience will be much like my other experiences with JJsHouse.  I know it will need alterations, but I am willing to pay for that.  I just hope that I am lucky and don’t have a train wreck to contend with being two months out.

Good luck!  Please do post pics, I am curious to see how it all turns out for you.
