If you get ones with just a little enlargement, that are close to your natural color, they can be cute depending on your face shape. I had a pair a couple years ago that I wore for maybe two days. I got a ton of compliments, and they looked cute, but they ended up scratching my eyes after <6 hours of wear. So, no, I won’t be, but best of luck to you!

i had no idea what these were and i wear contacts.
personally, they look very unnatural to me. i don’t think i would appreciate looking back on my wedding photos and seeing myself as a creepy cartoon character.

@MissFireFlower: maybe for your wedding day, esp the ceremony, you should go more natural…more you.
wear them for the rehersal dinner or other wedding related event.
I think they are cool…now I want to order a pair for kicks.
I use colour contacts all the time, grey colour blends, and I think it’s awesome that I can change my look (the grey look natural on me, most ppl don’t notice they are fake)…but for my wedding I need to look 100% me.

I was actually curious and got some.
The ones I got are green, but they’re almost exactly the same color as my eyes. It hardly makes them look different.. just a little more green and they stand out a bit more. My eyes look a little bigger, but these ones weren’t supposed to make your eyes look as big as some of the others and I already have bigger eyes as it is.
They’re kinda cool though. I think some look more natural than others depending on the size, color, and quality of them. Some look super fake =P

I live in China, and they’re really common here – you see them on most young women. I don’t really notice it until I’m having a conversation with someone who’s wearing them, and then it’s a little unsettling. They look like very pretty zombies.
One of my (Chinese) girlfriends wears dark brown ones on a daily basis (I don’t think I’ve ever seen her without them) and they make her eyes look inky black, almost reminiscent of the black oil eyes for any X-Files fans out there! I have a difficult time carrying on a conversation with her because I can’t quite ‘read’ her eyes, they’re kind of just very dark and opaque. I firmly believe in eyes being the window to the soul, plus my Fiance hates them, so I definitely won’t be trying these.
I did try the more subtle variation of coloured contacts – they’re like gradiated, almost ombre to give your eyes a ‘natural’ pop of colour. You’re meant to wear the same colour as your natural eye colour. But when I tried the brown ones (I have very dark brown, almost black eyes), they made essentially no difference.

Those things are scary, not pretty.

I’d definitely consider these for halloween. Super creepy.

As some others have said, please be careful with these lenses! If the lenses aren’t the right size, you can do some serious damage to your eyes. Also, if the lenses aren’t packaged properly in sterile solution, you can get nasty infections.

I bought a safe, legit prescription pair… and I didn’t like them. Nor did anyone else. DH did a double take, and almost everyone I talked to the night I wore them said something. Not anything complimentary mind you.

I will seriously have nightmares now. They seriously creep me out and remind me of dolls and dolls give me the heebie jeebies. This post was like a train wreck for me. I couldn’t look away.
