150,000! I definitley think it’s got at least another 50k in it.
I have gotten in accidents with both the Sentra and the Accord. The Accord is definitely sturdier and safer in that regard. The Sentra felt a bit like a tin can being crushed, but it’s also smaller. Not sure how the altima/maxima stand up in a crash.

I have a 2003 BMW 325xi and I loooove it. It has almost 200k miles on it and still runs perfectly. I’ve had it for 9 years now and it gets a checkup once a year but that’s it. It is awesome in snow, fun to drive, and reliable.
We are also leasing a Toyota Camry. Have you thought about leasing? It isn’t very expensive (I think around $200 a month), gets awesome gas mileage, and is fun and comfortable. The nice thing about leasing of course is that you get free service and would never have to worry about the cost for repairs.

@mrsquigley8-17-13: FI has the 2014 Subaru Legacy and I feel 10 times safer driving that than my 2013 Hyundai Elantra (probably because it’s only front wheel drive.) but I seriously LOVE the subaru.. It drives so nice, it has a big gas tank but the mileage is amazing. I highly recommend Subarus.

@mrsquigley8-17-13: I have a Toyota and have never had any issues with it. It is a 2006 and has 100,000 miles on it. It’s a great, reliable car and I get decent gas mileage.

I drive a Civic and I just love it! Its the second Civic that I’ve had and they’ve both treated me very well. They sit low so you 100% need snow tires for winter, but other than that no complaints for me.
I’ve had a Sentra as a rental and I didn’t like the blind spots in it, but that’s just my opinon.

Not a Nissan, but I love my 2009 Mustang convertible. I’ve rented a bunch of newer ones too in the last few years and they’re still awesome. It gets probably 23 mpg on average. But it’s sooooo fun to drive!
I live in Canada and I drive it year round. I just put really good winter tires on for half the year and it’s fine. I’ve only been stuck twice in 8 years in 2 different Mustangs, and that was in deep deep (2 feet) snow.

i had a Nissan Xterra for 10 years, LOVE! Never had a problem with it other than the standard new brakes, new tires, new battery but that was bc I had it for so long.
Fiance has a 2014 Nissan Altima, he loves it.
I now have a Mini Cooper. Also love it so far.

@mrsquigley8-17-13: I have had two Nissans, and I have been very pleased. They are not quite as expensive as Hondas (which I also love and have previously purchased), but they are similar (comparatively speaking, when looking across many brands of vehicles) in reliability.
To be sure you’re getting a good deal on this pre-owned model, ask to see the Car Fax report, and take a look at Consumer Reports, Edmunds, and Kelly Blue Book to determine what you should be paying for a 2007 Altima in the trim level that you’re considering.

I have a Toyota Rav4 and I absolutely love it. The only nissan I have ever personally owned was my clunker first car LOL. My bf owned a sentra and she has had to put a LOT of work into that thing. But overall as far as I know they are pretty decent cars.

I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and I love it! It gets great gas mileage, has a wonderful warranty, and scored as one of the top safety picks. It also looks pretty awesome too. =)

I have a 2010 altima and love it! I was not considering them until I could not get the price I wanted on slightly used accords. I got a much better deal and am glad it worked out!
