I have a brand new xc90, love it. I do love it a little less now that I know I could have flown to Sweden to get it.

I test drove the new xc90 (in Australia) about a month ago.  It was a lovely car to drive and the level of safety is second to none.

We ended up picking up our new X5 last week and i love it! We went with the x5 due to size (smaller than xc90) and my husband’s love of Bmw 😁

DoubleD :  My husband bought a used XC90 last fall after a serious car accident.  He went from a tiny BMV sedan to the XC90 and loves the space.  Me personally, while there is a lot of space, it feels cramped at the same time, which sounds weird, but I think it’s because of the way the windshield slopes in.  I found the same issue with the Ford Explorer, so it may be me being picky.

My husband loves it.  I drive it quite a bit when I have clients because my car is smaller.  I like it but don’t love it.  The gas milage sucks despite what’s claimed.  It also takes premium fuel so something to consider.  We have a warranty so we haven’t had to pay anything out of pocket yet.  I do find the touch screen system very confusing and I don’t think my husband has figured out all the bells and whistles yet.

But it can’t be beat for safety, which is why he got it.  For him peace of mind is worth the minor inconveniences that I complain about.

I have a 2016 XC90- so the biggest model.  It’s awesome.  We have two kids, and haul a ton of stuff all the time- so we went with the biggest car they make.  My husband was a little miffed at the pricetag, but the safety and amazing customer service (plus all of the options) won him over.  Now we literally drive that car everywhere.  It’s awesome if you’ve the need to climb from the front to the back (which seems to be a constant on road trips with our two small kiddos), and there is plenty of space for all of the stuff that comes along with kids.  If you don’t need the biggest model, I assume the smaller options are just as nice.  I would do another Volvo anytime.
