@HappilyEverAfter54:  thank you, we had a good day- both of our fathers were okay with red robin lunch after church , then we dropped kids off and did a dinner dater the resturant had couple rose petals and a card on table super cute, we got a candle in our sorbet we shared. been eatting our cake all weekend. 3 slices left and im kinda sick of it…. i dont know the flavor doesnt taste like it did at our tastings or wedding…:(

i was planning on wearing my reception cocktail dress but i apparently gained back fat and hubby was afraid of busting the zipper:(

Wow…I can’t believe we’re already at a year! DH and I are in the process of moving. We close next week. Last weekend, he turned to me and said, “So…we need to make plans for our anniversary.” With everything going on, we had completely forgotten! So, we are going to go to church together (the same church we were married in exactly a year ago), pick up the recreation of our top layer of cake (which I just called and ordered…thankfully, they are still able to make it!), and watch our wedding video. We’re going to go out to dinner at the restaurant where he took me before he proposed. Our reception venue lets us stay there on our first anniversary, but unfortunately, there are home baseball games that weekend and they were 95% booked when we called in April :-(. So…we’re going to go on a different weekend, when we need to relax from moving. I did get DH two gifts…a new return address stamp and a digital picture frame.

I won’t be celebrating with wine or champagne…because we are expecting! 🙂 I’m about 10 weeks along! I may get us a sparkling cider so we can use our champagne glasses. It’s just so hard to believe that a year has gone by. We’re buying our first house, I just changed jobs, and we’re expecting. Lots of things to wrap our heads around!
