yes, i have. I thought I will put a bun in the kitchen oven and just tell him when he gets home that I left him something in the oven… he will open it and find a bun!!

sounds a bit lame but can’t think of anything else… ๐Ÿ™‚ what are you going to do?

What does “KU” mean? I think your idea is very cute… I think any form of baby shoes is cute ๐Ÿ™‚

nah, I won’t bake it – I will just leave it in the oven… depends if I have time to bake it when I find out…

I was thinking about your shoe idea… how about you put the baby shoes IN his pair of shoes so when he goes out and goes to look for his shoes, he will see them inside? what u think?

i also read about someone saying that they urgently had to go to supermarket and they drove with their husband but chose to park in the “Mom with Kids” spot.. or buy a “baby on board sticker and tell him you can’t drive until you stick this on the car?

FI-to-be and I are a fair way of TTC, but I think I will be one of those women waving the “pee stick” in his face.

We had a miscarriage 2 years ago and it’s made me really paranoid that we’ll have trouble carrying to full term, so honestly, I’d say I’ll take the test with him and make him read the results, as I’ll be very, very nervous (which is actually what happened the first time).

If you’re actively TTC, I don’t know why you wouldn’t take the test together and share that moment.

@pink_sherbert:  Too funny about the pee stick! Darling Husband told me last night he did NOT want me doing that but thought a onesie or something was a better idea. IDK how he thinks I could possibly do that since he’s the one always telling me to POAS and is quite aware of my cycles.

I can’t think of a situation where I would know before my husband did… I’m not sure I would even test without him there.  So… no.

My Darling Husband calls me a meatball because I’m petite and have a curvy bottom half (unfotunately not much on the top half!) and one day on a whim I searched for and found the most adorable onesie from cafe press that says “mommys little meatball.” I couldn’t resist and totally bought it and stashed it in a drawer for later ๐Ÿ™‚

I ended up paying $40 to have a Harley-Davidson outfit overnighted to me because I couldn’t wait another day to tell my husband. Looking back, I wish I would’ve just bought it in advance and saved the $40. Jinxes aren’t real!

And yes, I know I’ve jinxed myself by saying that.

Have you ever seen that A&W comercial where the buy the grandpa-to-be a grandpa burger? (I tried to youtube it, but can’t find it).

I plan on stopping at A&W getting a papa burger for him, a mama burger for me and a baby burger to share. I’m going to unpack the bag and just wait for him to put it all together.

I am also going to buy him a baby version of his favourite hockey team’s jersey.

Ok so I just got a sort of/tentative BFP today.  I had a cute little onesie tucked away in my toy chest to give him.  But today’s been so weird that I drove to his work to bring him lunch and was one of those crazy people waving a pee stick in his face asking him if he sees a line.  The onesie is still in the toy chest, oops.

We’re not even TTC yet, but I already have a plan – so if it’s crazy, I say hop on board the crazy train!

We’re likely going to TTC this fall/winter.  I bought an adorable little Notre Dame baby hat (DH is an alum and we’re both huge fans) that I’ll give him after I get a BFP.  I dunno, I don’t see testing with him.  I don’t need to include him in obsessive TWW stuff, and it just seems weird to me (sorry, I like my bathroom time to be private, you know?).

I had hoped for it to happen near/on a weekend as my cycle keeps falling right around one. If I got a BFP I was going to suggest we go hiking near where we got engaged/first kiss/first date. I was going to bring my camelbak and place a onesie I bought at the top. Then when we got to a good resting place or whatever I was going to ask Darling Husband to go into it for something or another where he’d hopefully find the onesie.

BUTT if it happens this cycle it will land right when DHs whole family is visiting. I just bought the OSOM tests that claim they can decet hgc as low as 10 with the stupid hope of maybe being able to find out a day or two before his family comes. AND I probably jinxed myself anyways and it wont happen so HRMP! If it does though I might have to change plans. My second idea was to have our dog (who loves to carry things to you when you come home)carry the onesie to him when he gets home.
