I am probably in the real minority, but I hate prank jokes for the most part. The other person has not “opted in” and I find them mean.  Unless its something like putting food dye in the milk carton.  If someone to prank me I find it disrespectful. Please do not make me look like an idiot. Its not funny to embarass, hurt, scare, damage property etc- even for a temporary period of time.

I don’t plan to pull a prank on the giant, but he and I have a prank for our friends.

On Friday we’re both going to change our relationship on Facebook to single and update our status to something like “All good things must come to an end,” for his. For mine, something a little more dramatic: “did the hardest thing she ever had to do, but knows it will be worth all the pain. Here’s to a new beginning,” or something like that.

I’m hoping all our friends will FREAK out. I’m looking forward to it. >:)

oo i want to! so im def going to be checking back on this thread for ideas.

i got my mom good one year calling and telling her i was in an accident and she needed to come get me and deal with the cops. (back when i was still living under her roof and on their insurance) she was beyond mad. she is a good sport though

my husband is a good sport too but very competitive, i know whatever i do to him im going to get it 3 times worse!

pregnancy scare wouldnt work, i think he would actually be happy about that. maybe i can put my best acting face on and tell him i got fired.

@SeattleMolly: Hopefully itll work since that is what you want, but I saw that prank probably 2-3 times last year via facebook so some of your friends may know what is going on!

@lilmiss26: That’s the point. 😀 Heart attacks all around! haha

@lefeymw: Hm, maybe you’re right. I didn’t see it last year, so I thought it was a somewhat original idea. Well, if no one freaks the prank will be on us, I guess.

@lefeymw: I agree with you. I’ve never been big on pranks, especially not those that are scary/mean/etc.

The whole fake snake in the nut jar… that can be kinda funny because it’s a well known prank. I also like the candy in the fruit container, but many of the others seem like “crying wolf”. I know it’s a day to traditionally “cry wolf” but I much prefer the good natured pranks to the mean spirited ones.

Tell him that I’m going to get laid off.  That’s always nice.

I got him last year 🙂

We have a mutual good friend (he is a male & is single) and he is very much a guys guy – I am actually one of his only female friends.

So, I called up my husband and yelled out, “OMG I Have to tell you something!!!” I told him that I got an email from this friend, where he confessed to me that he was gay and that he was confiding in me b/c he knew I would be understanding and his fear of telling any of his male friends.

My husaband was like “WHAT! No way!! He didn’t believe it fully, but I was so convincing that he started second guessing himself, and he was in complete shock. Then I qucikly confessed my “April Fools!”

I love practical jokes that aren’t too mean, but I suck at keeping a straight face so most of these I don’t think I’d be able to pull off. The pregnancy scare seems like it could work … if I was any good at that. I would just end up laughing halfway through the sentence.
