@bride36:  yep they made the changes that I requested (mostly to clean up the lace edges and put beading on the neckline and back, put more beading on the belt, double check the waist measurement and straighten the buttons on the zipper). I’m really happy with it now – I’ve attached some pictures. They haven’t sent it yet, they told me it is going through quality control.

What kind of troubles are you having to fix your dress?

Hope this helps – I was really really nervous about ordering with them, but so far its been pretty good – I just hope it’s all good when I try it on! 🙂

@CBWFlove:  I ordered from dressilyme and to be completely honest, I regret it. They refused to send me pictures before shipping out, and the dress was certainly not as pictured even though I sent specific requests. In the end, it’s a nice dress, it was reasonably priced, and it’s the dress I’ll ultimately be wearing down the aisle…but in hindsight…I would have found another alternative. The custom sizing was also way off – it’s much too big…though they did nail the length. Here is a pic – I still need to get it altered. Again – It’s not that i hate the dress – I think it’s lovely…but it’s not what I would have picked out for myself…and as someone previously mentioned the fabric is much shinier than I wanted/anticipated, and I think it gives it a very cheap look… :/

@joanne150406:

thE link takes you to their website which shows you the dress I ordered. above is the picture they sent me. I was told the train of the dress they made is the same as the train of the dress on their website but due to that being a professional photographers picture the lighting and angles are different and therefore make the pictures differ a little. I want the satin lining to be longer to make up the train also but they told me they can not do that because they make the dress based off their picture on the website. I sent them an email saying they need to fix it but I am waiting a response

@bride36:  aw thats a shame – yeah I wasn’t happy with the first version of my dress either – it looked very different to the original picture (including the alterations I suggested) and I wasn’t happy with the quality. I emailed them and I got a response pretty quickly (I think within a couple hours) saying they would fix the details. I was worried I would have to keep going back and forth to get it to a point where I was happy with the dress – but lucky I was happy with the revised dress pictures. Hope you get it sorted, and keep us updated!

@joanne150406:

just got the email back from them telling me that no they will not fix the train. that they have made this dress for other brides the same as they made mine and that it is a beautiful dress.  i am very disappointed in their customer service.  i do not care if they think the dress is beautiful it is my dress and it does not look like it should.  so i am going to try to keep fighting with them or to get a refund.

@bride36:  I don’t blame you for wanting the satin to go down farther. I’m not a huge fan of that look either. That sucks, though. I wish you the best. Hope you get a good response!

@bride36:  yeah im really confused about why they would do the train that way – mine was only a brush train and the satin clearly extends much further and closer to the edge of the train. I think keep communicating with them and see if they can offer anything else to fix the dress – it might cost a bit extra but might be worth it if they can make it work somehow. I found being as polite and clear as possible about what you want changed worked for me. Hope you get a good outcome 🙂

@joanne150406:  yea I asked if maybe they could add a layer of chiffon under the tulle so that the train is not see through. I should get a response from them by tomorrow morning. If nothing else I will just have them check and fix up the hemline of the satin since it looks uneven to me and then have them send it to me and I will take it to a tailor here and see what they can do with the train. I like the dress and the front of it looks good I just hate the train. And I don’t want to pay them anymore money I would rather pay someone here to fix it

@CBWFlove: I, too, am considering ordering a dress from DressilyMe. Did you make a decision one way or the other? It does seem like their customer service is good, but the quality of the lace I is difficult to tell. There are only a handful of women who post close detailed shots of the lace. There are quite a few posts and photos on ProjectWedding if you’re still hoping to find out about the quality. I’m not sure if I can link directly but it’s in their forum section under Dress & Attire.

I’m going to order a swatch of fabric in the coming days. Unfortunately, they don’t offer swatches of lace.
