Wow!  I have strong feelings about higher order multiples and feel that if people are doing IVF they should only implant as many embryos as can be safely handled.  That sounds absolutely awful!

Is that the documentary where two of the babies died before she delivered and she almost lost a third one and they had to do a c-section at 28 weeks?  Because if we are talking about the same one, that whole thing mad me a bit angry for reasons having to do with what DG said…

Anyway, I’m greatful for my one little bean, but I have to admit that I’m jealous of women who get what my Darling Husband and I call a two-fer–TWINS!

I once saw a show (I don’t remember the name but it could be the same) where a woman got pregnant with sextuplets WITHOUT any form of help. It was all her and her husband! I was wicked impressed but man they totally have their work cut out for them. Imagine trying to get pregnant and becoming pregnant with six??? I didn’t even know that was possible without intervention.

The probability of naturally occuring sextuplets is one in several billion.  One in 4.5 million overall.  I could only find 2 cases reported in the media, but it appears that there are cases reported going back to the 1800s, just that all the babies didn’t survive.  There are 100 cases reported ever.

Wowsers!!

And I thought I was worried with the possibility of twins or triplets for our first pregnancy. That was all I kept hearing since both g’mas on my side had twins and apparently natural triplets also run in my family. I couldn’t imagine being preggie with 6. You can only imagine the “joys” this woman is going through.

Wow, she delivered ALL SIX??  Holy cow.  I really don’t think I could do that.  And imagine what her tummy looks like now!  (I get grossed out thinking about Kate Gosselin and what hers looked like.  Ew!)

It really frustrates me that people get “rewarded” for having a bunch of kids. Scholarships, life time supplies, medical connections, etc. I would like some help with mine! Shouldn’t I get something too?!

What channel was this on? Sounds like my kind of freak show.  I love that kind of stuff!!!

And she needed to gain 75 pounds?  I only had ONE baby and I gained 50. Oops.

Oh my gosh! That’s just… I couldn’t even imagine. I saw pictures of Octo-Moms belly and I literally got nauseous for a second.
