I would try a couple things:

  • Add more photos (more photos means less surprises for buyers)
  • Add more information to the description
  • Lower the price
  • Make the listing end on a Sunday evening (more people online then so its easier for them to place last minute bids if they watch time ending soonest)

It’s hard to sell clothes on Ebay, and with them and Paypal taking a percentage of the winnings and they paying shipping I don’t think it’s worth it honestly.

PP’s tips are good I would also say make sure the title is what people would search for.

What type of coat? Color? Size? Brand?

Also, I always have to stop myself from saying WHY I’m getting rid of the item.

@EffieTrinket:  I’d title it something like “NWOT Modcloth Blue Peacoat, Size, Retail $200+”

And pull details from the original modcloth listing.  Provide measurements when laying flat also, some people don’t know how certain brands will fit themselves and it’s reassuring 🙂

Hope that helps you sell it!
