I plan to do so. Hope I’ll be next to a computer by then.

Uh, yes?  Damn that “surprise” start time.  This is going to sound SUPER LAME, but I am actually going to skip class tomorrow to sit by my phone and wait for the email announcing the start…

I HATE MY LIFE.  I had many $3k-$5k items sitting in my cart because I literally went to the site the MINUTE the email was sent.  Roland Mouret, Celine, Vera Wang, Marchesa, Matthew Williamson…STUNNING dresses for a dollar.  I got greedy and thought I had time to shop. NO I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO SHOP.  They sold out in seconds.  I made off with some ugly Narciso Rodriguez shorts that probably won’t fit and an ugly Diane von Furstenberg dress. Sigh.  Better than nothing, but I MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY OF THE CENTURY.

I could have been wearing expensive beautiful dresses…for a dollar.

Edit: Here’s what I nabbed, anyway.  Not at all my first choices but everything sold out SO QUICKLY SADFACE.  Trying to figure out how to style these to make them work for me…

Here are things I HAD IN MY CART but didn’t pay for in time ’cause I’m an idiot:

Yes, all that.  In the correct sizes.  Today is a sad day.

Any other war stories?

I didn’t get anything. I tried to check out 3 times and things would sell out before I could. Oh well.

So apparently the site crashed for the UK sale and no one got ANYTHING–just a bunch of anger from everyone in the UK who spent several hours trying to check out at a broken, overloaded site! http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/blog/2010/apr/16/outnet-sale-website-crash

Makes me feel a tad better, though I still feel like an idiot for letting all those amazing dress slip through my grip.

Yeah I thought it was limited to one too!

I got a Valentino blazer. It’s not my size and not really my taste…but a $1! ha. Once it gets here I’ll decide if I want to have it tailored or give it to my mom.

I know right! I was shocked when my order went through.  But it did, and I got the confirmations.  Weird, I hope they don’t try anything funny, like charging me $600 for that dress retroactively.

Glad to hear some other bees were successful!

I’m SO mad I missed the sale. I just saw the email 10 minutes ago and, of course, everything was sold out.

Yep, I got it when I was on the subway and by the time I got to work, everything was sold out.   Booo.

@amariem: I did the same thing to my phone, but then I ended up staying up all night anyway! 9:18 AM EST and I still haven’t gone to sleep.
