My Mori Lee was $499.  I paid about $200 in alterations, but probably could have done it for less (I had a bunch of stuff done).  If you find a dress you like – FYI – definitely shop around.  The price tag on my dress was $775 at one boutique!

Mine was $100, $10 for alterations, and probably another $75+ for dry cleaning. I found mine off Craigslist.

I got mine at the running of the brides for about a fifth of its normal price.  The dresses there are either 299, 499 or 699 so lots of great dresses for cheap.  Its a lot of fun and you might find a great dress too

I bought a 450? Bonny sample dress from a local shop (where I got all my prom dresses in high school). No other girls had ever really tried it on and we couldn’t gaurentee I would be able to get it in and fitted before a month before the wedding otherwise. Spending less than 150 on alterations (hemming 3 layers, taking up the crinoline for added poof, taking in shoulders, and considered adding a temple piece to add coverage which would have put alterations at 165).

Mine was $575, including taxes. My mom is a seamstress so she will do all alterations for the dress.  She is also making my birdcage veil!

@7SEVENJ9: I tried on that same exact dress at Davids Bridal! I love it on you!

I spent AROUND $600. Don’t know or remember the exact amount…here’s a pic!

Before there was a pink sash, but I took it off and added this ivory sash!

My custom dress was $300, I haven’t had alterations but I anticipate less than $100 unless I have them sew crinoline into the skirt. 🙂 I did the jeffliu ebay dress route!

Mine was $55 on ebay and is a gorgeous, unique dress! It will need some minor alterations though too.
