I

I paid 49, then 25 for insured shipping. New, but it needs about an inch taken in at the armpit.

And I swear the room isn’t as messy as it looks.

I bought the J. Crew Sabine for $200 without alterations, which I am anticipating won’t be much. I scored mine on Once Wed. NWT and $500 cheaper than it should have been had I bought it at J. Crew!!

I spent $668(with tax)
The lady who owned the store has lived next to my Fiance and has seen him even when he was in diapers so we got a 30%discount. I love connections! πŸ™‚
I personally like simple dresses… So most of the dresses I looked at were around $600 anywyas.

@Dragonsus:

What a great vintage glamor look!  The birdcagre was the right way to go.  The gloves work well with the overall look as well.

Yes! My first dress was a Maggie Sottero I bought for 550. The second is a Davids Bridal normally 1050 that was marked down to 449.

Mine was $450 customized to my measurements from an etsy dealer (Chic Bride).  Sadly, my seamstress was not kind to my budget and charged me $400 for a hem, bustle, petticoat alteration, and a minor tweak to the modesty panel Cry

The worst part is I literally could have work it the way it was without the alterations, sigh.

My dress was $300.  It was a sample dress (in perfect condition).  I think the alterations (to bring it from a size 10 to a size 6) were a cost of about $80 and the veil was something like $80 too.

my dress was $450 from davids bridal! I am making my veil for $5 and I have a lady who does alterations and is very reasonable! I thought i was spending a lot on the dress until i saw that they are often over $1000   thats rediculous!
