I used a metallic paint and it worked just fine. Here’s a pic:

oh and I didn’t really do anything fancy? I just lined them all up and used really quick strokes back and forth. I think I did 2 coats.

I used “chrome” spray paint on mine. They came out great, but a but dull. No one seems to mind except me (of course) so I am also putting a clear coat of paint on them to see if that can make them shiny.

It can be done. Just be patient and use many coats!

Try spraying thin layers on and waiting for it to dry before applying another coat. Mine turned out fine, except when I got impatient and didn’t spray a thin layer.

Here’s a picture of my proto-type. This was the first one we did – they got better from here 🙂

Practice makes perfect!

@Robin_Sparkles:  Are your numbers stickers or did you use a template to cut them out?
