My photog isn’t really the type to have a blog, or to submit any of his weddings to blogs. I *think* my wedding is blog worthy and I really want to try and put it out there, but I’m worried no one will even look at it bc I’m not the photographer. Has anyone submitted their wedding anywhere? To what blogs? Any and all help would be appreciated 🙂
Also, I posted a recap a bit back, I’m not sure how to link that post to here, but if you wanted to check it out I would really appreciate feedback on whether my wedding is *actually* blog worthy! Lol seriously though, you won’t hurt my feelings if you say no. Thanks bees!

Blogs will pay attention to submissions from brides. They will require your photographers permission to publish it though.

Looking at the guest photos from your wedding you could have it blogged if your photographer did a good job of shooting it and shot in in the style that blogs enjoy.

You could submit your wedding photos to a blog, but why do you want to? For most people, a wedding is personal and special. Private. It doesn’t need to be broadcast all over the internet.
That said, if it’s really what you want–I agree with PPs. You need to get your photographer’s permission in order to distribute the photos that way. They’ll probably want you to submit watermarked photos with their name and logo on it.

1. Blogs won’t accept watermarked images. They will give your photog proper credit. They will ask that the images be re sized to their specification. Unless you have experience doing that, let your photographer do that for you. In order to get a good web image I follow different steps than I do for images meant for print
2. You worked hard on your wedding details and theres nothing at all wrong with wanting to get them blogged. My clients love it when I get their weddings featured. It doesn’t mean you are all about the stuff and not the people. It doesn’t mean you cherish your wedding less.
i wish you good luck. for your style of wedding perhaps try Green Wedding Shoes.

@Weetzie: I submitted our wedding to Style Me Pretty and it was selected for one of their local blogs (link). I don’t think it makes a difference if the submission comes from a pro or a bride as long as you follow the the submission guidelines. Abby from SMP has written a couple of blog posts about how to package your submission:
Your wedding was lovely, btw!
