@kryssbride:  I switched to the Nuva Ring. It’s crazy easy and I LOVED it! Only have to change it once a month! But unfortunately for me I have crazy sensitive skin, and a mild sperm allergy (sorry TMI) so It wasn’t working for me and had to go back to the patch =[. But I recommend it ALL the time! The best part too is that you can take it out before sex, if you would rather and just rinse it off with luke warm water, and re-insert when you’re done. or you can do the deed with it in, rinse, and replace! Easy peasy

I went from patch to Nuvaring…

I personally liked the Nuva Ring better but BOTH caused really constant yeast infections.  I just can’t do birth control without adverse side effects. =(

But out of the two, I would recommend Nuvaring

I did, I switched from Otho-Evera to Nuva Ring and I regret it! They changed the adhesive to something I am allergic to :(… I wish I could go back, I picked up 2 pant sizes on nuva ring, and lost my lebido 🙁

EDT: I just saw your update about FH being well endowed, mine is too, my nuva ring has only ever come out once.. and it was funny 😛

@kryssbride:  I NEVER take mine out until it’s time.. It’s… icky.. another reason I don’t like the ring… I think my biggest issues were the weight gain and the loss of lebido >,<

@kryssbride:  Just the patch, and I LOVED it.. Where did you wear yours? I used to wear mine on my tushy or my hip bone.. after the first day I would use *non acetone* nail polish remover, baby oil or rubbing alcohol to take off the yicky ‘ring’ around the patch.. it helped astetically 🙂

@kryssbride:  Just don’t use too much, and make sure there are no wrinkles that lift the patch off your skin (if that ever happened to me, I stuck a big bandage over it lol.. happened rarely for me though

I switched to a pill that contained the same hormones as the patch (it was called Marvelon in Europe and then shortly after it came out as Seasonale in the US, I think). Was glad I did because I hated having that grody sticker on my butt.

You can take it out for up to 3 hours, just make sure to put it back in! And my Darling Husband is the same (tee-hee) and I was scared too at first but it really isn’t bothersome. I just took mine out during sex because I felt cleaner if I did.

And also it’s clear that everyone responds differently because I didn’t gain and ounce of weight on the NuvaRing and had no loss of libido, but I’m SUPER bitchy on the patch and have gained weight.
