I dont have one but I would test it out with your shoes because I think it would make ur dress longer and you dont wanna trip!

I had a crinoline under my A-line dress and I DIDN’T take it off and didn’t have any problems dancing the night away.  Our photographers said they’d never seen a B&G dance so much at their wedding and the crinoline slip didn’t impeed that at all.  I wouldn’t worry about it too much – I don’t think you’ll have any difficulties!

I wore one under my dress as well, but knew that if I took it off then the dress would be longer. I planned on keeping it on and I did. It was fine for dancing.

I had my seamstress remove the crinoline during my alterations because I wanted the skirt to be really flowy (if that’s a word) and move a lot when I danced. I don’t regret it for a second!

@CanAmBride: i just had my seamstress do that last week! i didn’t like how poufy the skirt was, so we cut, cut, CUT about 5 lbs of crinoline out from under my dress 🙂

@blondeeebuckeye – Isn’t it a great feeling when it’s gone and you can finally move around without feeling like a puffball?

I also had my seamstress cut the train off my dress at the same time. You should have seen the look on the other bride’s faces at the bridal store when they watched what I was doing. You would have thought I asked the seamstress to club a baby seal or something!

@CanAmBride: that’s the next thing on my list 🙂 I don’t think they will be able to cut it off completely on my dress, but i think they can definitely shorten it!!

glad i’m not the only one hacking my dress to pieces!!
