I used anti snap years ago, I remember it making my hair feel kind of stiff.  Schwartzkopf has a leave in you use just on the ends that works like magic.  My hair has never been as long as it is right now since I’ve been using it.  You just put on a teeny amount on the ends & they stop breaking.

When dh wakes up, I’ll go look at it & post the name of the actual product.  Amazing stuff.

Hi!

I have used the Redken Extreme Strength Builder for years and love it!! I just started using the Extreme Primer and Sealer about a week ago so I think I like the primer but can’t see any difference with the sealer.

If you’ve ever been on Makeup Alley, people love the CAT product so I’ve been meaning to try it.

Good luck!!

Redken extreme anit-snap leave-in is a godsend for me! I’ve been using it for a couple years now and put about 3-4 pumps on the bottom half of my hair and it made the damage so much less noticiable and my hair feel so much softer! It doesn’t work for everybody but my hair was very long, thick, and damaged from some gown out highlights and heat so the keratin helped to repair all that. Women who have thin hair that don’t have as much damage as they think they do will notice their haior gets stiff and straw like if they use too many keratin products but my hair can’t get enough extra keratin! I also love the mathcing shampoo and conditioner

Try an Olaplex treatment as well. Olaplex will reform the bonds in the hair and help mitigate past damage. Plus, the effects are permanent.

wifetobee63:  I have been hearing about olaplex but I thought it was just an additive to hair dye? Or can you use it at home as a treatment too?

BrideAddict92:  I use both with every wash, admittedly on 2-3 times a week (and the Extreme deep conditioner mask about once a week) and I really like them! I wouldn’t say they have solved all my problems (my hair is very prone to breakage) but it is definitely helping and the mask makes my hair so soft and smooth, much better than it’s typical course, difficult nature.

I have used both in the past and did feel like they made a difference in my hair. I only use the Extreme CAT about once a month, and usually on a weekend so it has some time to sit in my hair. A hair blog I go to advised not using it all the time, as sometimes the protein in it can be too much.

The anti-snap, I used every once in awhile on my ends and did notice a difference when they were starting to break in between haircuts. I don’t think you could go wrong using that product every day on your ends to start, or maybe a couple times a week if it makes the texture stiff.

The Schwartzkopf product is called Repair Rescue.  Or Rescue Repair.  I forgot already.  Magic potion.  Dh commented the other day about how long my hair has gotten.  He likes it.

Stop using the “Go Blonder” IMMEDIATELY!  It is going to cause your hair to break a lot more.  Look at the reviews on Amazon and you will see some horrifying pictures.

I use redken anti snap and redken extreme strength shampoor and conditioner and they have completely saved my hair.

Not only does my hair no longer break but it is now growing so much thicker and healthier. I wont use anything else on my hair now

TheQuickBride:  olaplex no 3 is the abhor product. You put it on towel dried hair, leave it on for at least 10 minutes,  then shampoo and condition. Olaplex no 1 is the product that is usually added to lightened. It can be used by itself if diluted in water, but it is a salon only product (you’d have to go to a salon for treatment. Olaplex no 3 can be purchased for home use, but isn’t quite as potent as no 1.

Stop using the Go Blonder spray. I used that for a TINY bit, and found it dried my hair out and created an awful color blonde. Before I started highlighting regularly at a salon, I would get natural highlights from the sun – and what color my hair turned from the spray was not natural. I had to go in shortly after using to correct my roots.

If you want more blonde added to your alreadu blonde hair, use the John Freida blonde highlight activating line. I use that to brighten up my highlights and have found no damage.
