I don’t trust anything only available via multilevel marketing.

I’ve never tried it but I’ve heard from other people that it’s really good in a sense that it’s very healthy and it’s basically a meal replacement. If you have any of the beach body programs and go to beachbody.com there are coaches that give you samples for free for you to try it out. I’ve heard the chocolate is the best one.

@the_newlymintedmrs-s17:  My coworker just started drinking them. She likes the vanilla a lot better than the chocolate. No results yet, it’s only been a few days.

I have a bag of the chocolate. It’s not bad but it’s crazy expensive. $100 for 1 bag?! For that price you’d be better off juicing spinach, fruit, cocoa powder, etc.

I love it! I will back this product 100%. I’ve been using it since January and it has completely changed my way of eating. It also has helped me with my stomach issues. Get a few samples. Give it a try.

@the_newlymintedmrs-s17:  i like the chocolate. I usually add some pb or almond butter for extra flavor and I add ice w almond milk. You can just add water but I like to throw it in my magic bullet and it comes out like a chocolateshake. Sometimes I add cold coffee to the mix too 🙂 any questions just ask!

I was a Coach for Shakeology and I DON’T recommend it.  I have been in the fitness/wellness scene for a while (by no means a body builder or fitness model but very healthy) so I have tried a lot of things.  Here is why I don’t reccomend…

It’s VERY EXPENSIVE, as a PP said, $100 for one bag, and there is a new Tropical flavor that is vegan and it’s more expensive than that.  I believe there is now a vegan chocolate flavor as well, not sure on that price.

I never saw or felt results using the product.  It is definitely a meal replacement but it does NOT keep you satisfied like a meal would.  I often felt hungry and lethargic within 2-3 hours after drinking my breakfast shake.

I tried all different way of making the shakes to make it taste good…not much can help with the flavor unless you add a lot of things to it and that is just adding calories anyway.  If you let the tropical flavored shake sit too long (like 10 minutes or so) it becomes seperated and funky in consistency.

If you go online to the Beachbody site they will try to sell you on being a coach to get a discount on all the products or to do a homedirect method of purchase (where they just send you the bag od shake mix each month and take the pmt from your checking acct)…BUT, it costs $40-$50 to be a coach in the first place…why pay a fee to get a discount?  It dones’t make sense to me in retrospect but I didn’t do enough research before I signed on.

There are more effective and less costly ways to get nutrients if you are looking to get rid of all your vitamins (pills).  I know how you feel though…I take a women’s multi, fish oil, St. John’s Wort, and glucosimine everyday lol!  I get mine from wal-mart and its so much cheaper!

Nope, too expensive and sounds gimmicky. I am currently doing the Insanity workout and after each workout I make a smoothie out of frozen fruits, usually frozen strawberries, half a banana, some blueberries, raspberries, whatever I have in the freezer at the time. I add half a cup of plain nonfat yogurt and some skim or low fat milk, blend, toss some walnuts and dark chocolate chips on top and voila, a delicious, healthy, filling recovery treat.

My hair dresser is doing this right now, and she’s pretty dedicated to the whole Shakeology and Beachbody thing.  She’s had 2 kids and gained some weight with the second pregnancy, but she is naturally thin and has always looked great.

You can see that she’s had results since she started, but I started my own weight loss plan around the same time, and I’ve had good results too, using MFP and going to the gym.  From what she’s told me, it’s EXPENSIVE.

Seems gimmicky to me.  A certain meal replacement drink isn’t going to make you lose weight–cutting/burning calories WILL make you lose weight.  Doesn’t matter if you’re getting a portion of those calories from some expensive drink or if you’re getting them from a homemade smoothie, so why waste your money?

@the_newlymintedmrs-s17:  I do LivingFuel every morning, and I swear I’ve been a whole new person since I started.  I dont know much about shakeology, but I know tons about LivingFuel if you’re interested! It’s got all the enzymes, vitamins, and minerals, and macronutrients that you could possibly need.  I add it into a smoothie or a home made juice.
