zoey0317 :  Thank you! It feels so surreal to finally be here. I never thought we’d get this far and it’s feeling more real everyday. Granted, I freak out over every little ache or weird feeling lol but we’re starting to get excited! I’ll never forget the pain we experienced for so long but I definitely feel like we’re on the path towards healing. You’ll get there! I never used Clomid, but instead used Gonal-F injectables which supposedly has a higher success rate (per my RE). Always willing to chat about it! Good luck <3

It took me over 2Β years to have my son. Β I got pregnant the third month trying, but I had a MC around 6-7 weeks. We had all the tests done, everything was fine with both of us. After all the testing and unexplained infertility, my doctor was booking us an appointment with a fertility clinic to discuss IUI. I got my BFP while waiting for the appointment to be booked, and now I have an amazing 9 month old rainbow baby πŸ™‚

Infertility is the hardest thing I’ve ever dealt with. I definitely did not handle it well. Good luck!Β

ilovethesun :  so we never got through all of the testing for infertility for me because we got pregnant.  All my other numbers up to that point were fine except for my progesterone which was 5 the first time I got pregnant (ended in MC) I also had irregular cycles with very short Lp (9-10 days).  My AMH was 13 when tested.  I think they suspect I have a mild case of PCOS or I just have a hard time ovulating regularly because of the high AMH (that being said I do ovulate on my own).  So for the progesterone I was on supplements until I hit 14 weeks.  I did the Clomid to bring my ovulation date forward and make it more predictable so we could time BDing better but the month we got pregnant somehow I managed to ovulate on day 14 all on my own for the first time in 13 months (previously it had been days 26-28).

We tried for 9 months before getting pregnant.. which I know you’re on 10-11 but I just wanted to say I still understand how you are feeling. The last 2 cycles I felt so down. I felt like if it hadnt happened yet.. obviously something was wrong and there was no way it would just magically happen. I went to the drs in January so frustrated.. and got even more frustrated when her response was that I was young and that typically she would say try for 15-18 months before testing. I thought this was absurd and such a waste of time. I left in a bad mood…. that cycle I had given up. I was emotionally and physically tired and sick of planning my life around ovulation/hsg tests… fertile weeks… temperatures.. it was just too much. I gave up ovulation tests.. I just temped… and I gave up attempting to bd constantly throughout my fw. Intsead we bd when we felt like it (aimed for eod, but it didnt happen perfectly) and just enjoyed eachother. It happened to be valentines day so It as slightly more romantic… but anyway… it happened. I dont know if it was because I was more relaxed (I know people ALWAYS say this) or because we bd less… which I have also heard… or if it was just the right time for us. All I can say is keep your head up and know that it WILL happen.

zoey0317 :  Def use the cups, especially if you just had HSG done. That may help πŸ™‚ Not going to lie, it was weird using them. I remember when DH saw them he was so confused and wonder how I was getting them in “there.” Did you take any medicine prior to the HSG? Luckily I read that you should since you will have cramping. That’s great you like your doctor. We did all the testing in the book. For us, DH has low sperm, low motility and low morph. We were told IVF is our only opition so since we are saving right now for it we are still trying and hoping. Hitting the 1 year mark hurt, but we have a plan which is helpful. I would like to not see 20+ cycles but I dont think that would be realsitic. We just hope it works.

zoey0317 : We were trying for three years though admittedly that we weren’t doing the BD every month, I couldn’t emotionally, it would have drained me and sent me insane, I think all in all it was about 14 cycles. We’d both given up hope and I’d been to the doctors about it and they suggested IVF. We didn’t get round to organising a follow up appointment and three months later we conceived, LO is three weeks old today and I’ll always be grateful, she’s our little miracle. Hang on in there!

zoey0317 : funnily enough the month we caught I did no POAS or tracking etc. as you say we just had sex, so I thought we’d be out for that month for sure.

zoey0317 :  I’m so sorry you’re going through this. TTC sucks when it’s not going how you imagined. My second took 16 months and a miscarriage to conceive. We have no fertility issues, it was just sucky luck. I wish I had some advice for how to deal, but my main form of coping was wine and crying, so I am no help. I hope you get your BFP soon!

zoey0317 :  Apparently with how bad his SAs were, IUI would just be a waste of money. I was kind of shocked too that we werent told medicine, IUI nothing just yup you guys get to move straight to IVF. Yeah luckily reading that some women do get pregnant before IVF makes me hopeful πŸ™‚ Good luck with yours as well!!! I hope you see your two lines soon as well πŸ™‚ Love your photo, so true!
