I used one along with charting and found it useful.  I relied more on my temperatures than just the monitor but I liked being able to see how often they lined up with each other . . . which was most of the time.  It will take a few cycles to learn you and more acurately predict your cycles so you don’t have to pee on as many sticks per month.  One word to the wise: make sure when you pee on the stick you get the absorbent side in the stream.  I didn’t even notice until month two that one side was absorbent and the other side was covered by plastic and I was too sleepy one morning to notice and wasted that day’s reading.

@Pelikila: I totally did that this morning! Grr!  That’s what the exclamation point means right?

I just starting using it this month and I’m really liking it so far.  I’ve heard really good things from some of my girlfriends that the month they started using it they got PG.  We’ll see how it goes!

@JaneyD: Yep, a misread or error.  Sucks when that happens but I promise, you’ll never make that mistake again!  Smile

I used and liked much better than charting; it was more accurate and flexible in terms of testing time.  I got pregnant within one month at age 33 with irregular cycles,  my SIL used it and got pregnant within one month too.   If you go on Amazon it has like 4.5 stars out of 200 reviews.   I plan on using it for my next child, and would recommend it to anyone

This is our 5th month of TTC and I finally broke down and bought these off Amazon…felt weird buying at the store like the cashier knew what I would be doing lol….So I am currently coming to an end of the TWW so we will see if it worked for us this month….I will keep you updated….good luck to you 🙂

I’ve had 4 highs in a row (after 1 misread) and I really want to see the peak!  I just did a bunch of reading about it and I saw that some people don’t get a peak the first month because it’s still learning your hormone levels.  Also that some people have a ton of high days in a row.

What were all of your averages?

In 5 months of using it I had a peak detected 4 of the 5 months.  It wasn’t the first month that never gave me a peak though, it was something like month 3.  I’m glad I was also charting so I had a comparison and could see that things were still doing what they were supposed to.

i have now had 9 high days not including a misread the day before the 9.  I am pretty sure that OV was on day 5 or 6 of the 9 because of egg-white CM and it matched my other cycles, but I really want it to go down to low again so that I know we are done!  Unfortunately I had a misread for 2 days in a row right when I think I should have been at peak.

I got a peak my first month too.  So lots of high days for me, then peak.  Still got a BFN at the end of the month though…
