Personally never used them, but I am thinking of using Jasmine’s bridal after reading a thread on them. They seem to be the best email them and ask for a quote. 🙂

I can’t speak for DHGate but dressilyme has been great to deal with. I sent them a dress with modifications and it came out wonderfully.  I have seen many bees who have pieced together a dress from different dresses, sent it to them and they custom designed something. They might be worth a try.

I ordered from babyonline.

They were very fast and I was pleased, overall. I had a couple nitpicky things about my dress, but would do it this way again in a heartbeat.

The best way to think about it is that your are getting a dress made from scratch without fittings. So make sure you give clear and specific instructions about shape, fabric, colour, how many layers, length of various features, beading details, how the layers are attached etc. Give them clear high def pictures that they can blow up and use.

And you can’t go wrong.

The only difference may be that the fabric isnt silk or french lace or anything expensive but given the price you will be paying, i don’t think it is expected to be.

Personally I felt confident that the dressmakers have the skills, they just need instructions.

And then of course its $200 so if they screw up, try again with a different design or go and get it from the store.

Hope that helps.

Dressilyme does do custom if the dress already exists somewhere and you can find a pic of it.  They won’t piece together different dresses.  I think they used to in the past because I’ve seen photos, but they don’t anymore.  The rep claims that they can’t guarantee it will come out like the photoshop and they don’t want people disappointed.

Also try Fabulous U.  Tony is great to work with!  There has been a lot of girls on here that has a good experience with them.
