I’ve heard 5 hr energy works…

I used to be a RedBull drinker but then cut my sugar so I stopped drinking them

I used to drink Red Bull all the time but energy drinks aren’t good for you. Fiance drinks 5 hour energy all the time, he loves them but even though it’s vitamins I still don’t think it can be good for you or your heart. That’s just me. This one person in my town had an ulcer in his stomach from drinking energy drinks and it burst when he was driving and he crashed his car. It just scares me now, I don’t want to mess up my body.

5 Hr energy always makes me shaky and jittery. It kept me going the days I got way too little sleep, but my body definitely paid for it. And I crashed hard. But I never tried them in lieu of my normal morning coffee, after a normal night’s sleep, so maybe it would be different.

I used to live on Red Bull, my husband likes the Monster Energy…it’s a black can with a skull and crossbones on it. He says he feels like a tool buying it, but it tastes the best. We’re TTC now, and I’ve cut back my caffeine to one and a half cups of coffee a day (which was a drastic cut).

I use energy drinks pretty often. It’s bad, REALLY bad, I know. But…I need the extra bursts of energy to get through my long days! I use monsters and sometimes red bull. I tried five hour energy but it made me crash so hard! After about an hour I had to take a nap.

I’ve never had 5 hour energy – freaks me out for some reason. I’ll drink red bull every once in a while, but not too often because I know it’s not good for me!

i used to drink one of those 5 hour energy drinks if i was on a mission to clean my house, lol, worked ok. i don’t drink caffeine anymore, so i haven’t had one in a while. i do remember it tasting pretty bad and wishing the opening was wider on the bottle, so i could throw it back like a shot more easily=)

A 5-hour energy salesman dropped off a box where I work.  One guy drank one, and I timed out the 5 hours.  He was yawning and crashing at three and a half.

energy drinks are the devil.

they can damage your stomach lining and cause ulcers if you drink them too frequently (tru fax –happened to a close friend..who still drinks them despite his bleeding stomach walls..).

They make me feel like crap personally.

I used to drink the Tab energy drinks and they tasted so good but now they’re discontinued 🙁 Usually I feel sick after drinking strong energy drinks so I’ve stopped drinking them.

I have used them for some all night cram sessions and they really do work. I just wish they were cheaper because I am poor! lol

Darling Husband tried the 5 hour one once, and it just made him really jittery and sick to his stomach.  I stick to lattes.  I already have a heart condition, no need to make it worse!

Even though they aren’t the best for you- I can’t resist a little burst of energy from a sugar-free redbull on occasion. I was terrified to try a 5 hour energy, but decided to one day at work when my brain just needed a little kick start. I started with HALF the bottle, and it was great! The taste wasn’t bad and it gave me just enough to get me through the next couple hours. I, however, took the other half after a couple hours then started to get the shakes and jitters real bad. SO, if you plan on trying it, drink it a little at a time, it did the job! I’m 5’3 and 120 lbs, so maybe that was just too much for my body to handle.

Energy drinks scare me.
