My friend has used a type of makeup called everyday minerals for a couple of year and LOVES it. I have been using clinique products since highschool, but have recently wanted to try something new so I have ordered some sample products from everyday minerals. The company will send you free samples of their products for you to try at home. They also have information on their website so you can figure out what type of skin you have. From the descriptions, it seems that I am a cool skin type. I ordered base, concealer and a bronzer meant for girls who have fair skin, so we will have to see how the sample work out!
Anyone else use everyday minerals??

Everyday Minerals is my go-to foundation for lightweight everyday wear. I’ve been using it for years as well and definitely prefer it over other bigger mineral makeup brands such as Bare Minerals. Bare Minerals did not feel bare at all =[ Instead it made my skin itchy, and the particles in it only made my naturally oily skin more shiny. It also looked horrible in photos, I had this color cast in my skin that made my face look shades lighter than the rest of my body. Everyday Minerals kind of has the same problem but not nearly as bad. The ingredients in mineral makeup is just not photo friendly, so for that I can’t really blame either companies. I find that Everyday Minerals is perfect for summer, when my skin gets extra oily, and a liquid or cream foundation just won’t cut it. I’m glad you discovered it through your friend & hope you like it!

I do! I do! Everyday Minerals is in my rotation of foundations and I have been using it off and on for three years. It’s very affordable but I do find that I need to touch up often because there is very little oil control and the foundation itself is not very long lasting (especially around the nose area). Despite the cons, it is a great foundation at an affordable price.

I have now received the everyday minerals makeup and like it! It took a few days to get used to applying loose powder make-up, but I think I am getting the hang of it!
I actually think that it gives me great coverage and I like that their concealer does look cakey on my skin like the clinique liquid concealer sometimes did. I also like that the mineral makeup has more of shiney quality to it, my skin looks more vivid (I think ;))
Anyone else who is interested in trying a new makeup should give everday minerals a try in my opinion.
