Hi bees! I am on the quest to find a setting for my diamond, and I like a lot of what I’ve seen on pompeii3’s site. Has anyone gotten their ring from here? What was your experience? Could you post a pic?
Also, I have my own stone already, how do I get it set then – can I take the setting and my stone to a local jeweler? Does pompeii3 set the stone if I send it to them??
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated, I would especially love to see pics from anyone that has a ring from this site!!!
ETA: I found some threads about this place but would love to hear/see if anyone has had recent experience too!

I have a ring from pompeii3 and they are GREAT. I highly recommend them. They are also on ebay and that gives you an extra layer of protection for your purchase through ebay, so check them out there.

@lilsweetie: Oh thank you so much- I really wanted to know if someone was happy with their purchase, their prices seem so reasonable, that I was almost skeptical of the quality – I want my setting to be perfect 🙂
Ironically, I looked up their phone number to call and ask them about setting my existing stone, and found out their actual store is close enough to me I could actually go there! That should make it easier, yay!
I am going to tell my Fiance about this store and see if he is interested in using them. I am supposed to just be giving him pictures of what I like and letting him go, but I have researched rings for so long I guess I can’t help myself, hahhaha! But really, why make him spend more $ for what I love if what I love is here and at a good price?
I am looking at all of their halo styles to go with an existing 1 carat diamond that has been in my family. Pompeii has so many nice ones!

I purchased my wedding band (diamond) from their shop on ebay. It’s fabulous! I am very happy with them!

i also bought my wedding band from them. when i first got it, it was missing a stone (has a bunch of tiny diamonds) & i told them, they sent it back, reimbursed me for shipping, fixed it and got it back to me asap. they were great & very helpful.

Thanks every one! The more I’ve read and seen, the more I think I’d like to go to them. I will need to talk to Fiance and see if he likes the idea. I have a huge wish list I’ve made on their site lol.

Don’t do it! They are “great” when you place your order and horrible if you need to return. I ordered a setting for a cushion center (which I specified twice when ordering) in a size 6.5. They sent the setting for a round stone in at least a 5.5, I couldn’t even get the ring on my finger. I also ordered an eternity band to go with the setting. Both rings were mediocre at best, which is to be expected considering the price. I ended up sending the setting back since it was too small and wouldn’t work with my stone, and the band wasn’t pretty enough to keep. They received my returned items on July 5th. I emailed to check on the refund and was told it would be up to 7 business days before they issued my credit. 7 business days seems like a long time to me, but I waited patiently for the credit to post to my account. On the 7th business day after they received my order (July 16) I enquired about my refund. Chris said it would be processed that day. They did not issue the refund. I emailed again today (July 17th – 8th business day) and again, Chris said he confirmed that the credit would be issued today. I received an email this afternoon saying they would issue the credit tomorrow (July 18th – 9th business day, 12 days after they received my items). I guess I will wait and see if they actually issue the refund tomorrow. This just seems like horrible customer service, they want your money and screw you around when you need to send something back because they sent the wrong product. I read plenty of negative reviews on various sites, I wish I had ordered from an honest company.
