I was planning on looking into Whole Foods anyway, but I’m glad to see this post has been revived! It’s nice to know that you all have had good experiences with them.

@harpgirl555: Those are so pretty!

Ladies, here is what I paid. It was more than I planned, but I wanted to make sure that cala lillies were dark purple color and that made everything more expensive.

I still think that it was cheaper than a flower shop for these flowers.

My bouquet – $200.00

Bridesmaids – $34.99 ea

Boutonnieres – $9.99 ea

Grooms Boutonniere – $12.99

2 Corsages – $19.99 each

Table Arrangements – $110.00 each

@harpgirl555:  Wow, those look great!  I am looking for a looser flower look as opposed to a round bouquet, and they way they did your bouquet looks perfect!  I’m definitely going to look into using Wholefoods!

@harpgirl555:  Where in NJ are you located? I’m in Philadelphia. Do you think it would be worth it for me to venture out and meet with the person who did your flowers? She seems to have a GREAT eye.

@LuckyJuls:  I’m near Princeton. Just make sure that you are willing to pick them up from there! ( It should be around 45 – 50 minutes away)

@LuckyJuls:  I would call them first and find out when she is working. She is the flower department supervisor. Her name is Raechel. The store number is 609.799.2919

I didnt use them for my centerpiece but I did use them for my bouquets.  They were a great price and only 5 minutes from my venue.  My bouquet and 3 bms were $200.  Mine originally had gerbera daisies, but when I went to pick them up, I hated how they looked and the bright red they were, so the florist actually redid it for me replacing all the daisies with red roses while I wandered around the store for 10-15 minutes.  No complaints…I loved the final result and how quickly she changed them up for me!

I used Wholefoods, they came out great!  I was a little nervous, but they did a fantastic job.  They sent me pictures of mock ups before doing all of them so I could tweak anything I wanted before they finished, which was nice.  And the price was right too.

brides bouquet (cream and lavender roses, white and purple fresia) – $40

bridesmaids bouquets (cream and lavender roses, calla lilies, carnations)- $25 each

mason jar centerpieces (cream and lavender roses, stock, lisanthus calla lilies, carnations, fresia) – $20 each

These aren’t the best pics, but something to look at

@Tigrrlily04:  I’m very interested in checking out Whole Foods for my wedding flowers since every place I have contacted has been WAY over my budget. Your photos don’t show up (maybe because this post is old?) Could you Repost them or email them to me so  I can check their work out?

I’m so glad that I came across this thread. I had not thought of Whole Foods even though I purchase flowers for the home several times throughout the year. There’s one incredibly close to my venue (insanely easy pre-ceremony pickup!) I’ll be back with prices and photos in the coming weeks. Thanks so much for the help, Bees.

I have an apt with the Whole Foods in White Plains next Sunday. I stopped in for a bouquet and was surprised at the wedding sign. I can’t wait to see what they come up with. So far, my NYC area quotes have been crazy!

I’m bumping this thread big time to say that I had heard about them doing flowers and didn’t know if the one near me does this. So I went to Whole Foods today in my area and the selection of flowers is beautiful! I was told to call the floral manager, since shes only there in the mornings. I can’t wait! I’m not picky about actual flowers as long as it’s beautiful, so I’m hoping it’ll be budget friendly.

hello ladies, anyone that used whole foods in the past year have any pictures/updates on costs to share? I’m looking to possibly use them and will visit with them next week. Of course with my luck they’ll tell me they no longer create bouquets/centerpieces for weddings. Although, I did talk to one girl at a Whole Foods in NJ that said they can order whatever flowers I want for me (if I were to go the DIY route) but I did not ask if they’d make 14 centerpieces since at the time I was all about DIY.

califlorican:  Did they help you get a decent quote?  I’ve gotten about 5 florist quotes and witch each one it’s either WAY out of my budget or complications in terms of locations, etc

I’ve had $3000 quotes, $2300 $1900 quotes, $1200, and $800 quote (but she’s farther and would make things a bit complicated for me on my wedding day). So she’s the back up for now and would def save me TONS but I’m hoping to find something more reasonable in both budget and location. The $1200 quote would’ve been ok but that has its own batch of complications – questionable taste/morals. long story there.
