I’ve ordered a men’s kurta from Utsav and my friend bought her 4 bridesmaids saress (I’m one of the BM’s) from them.

I think if your expecations are reasonable, you’ll have a good experience ordering from them. The color of the outfit you see online may not be exactly what you get but it’ll be close. For examle, I ordered an ivory/cream kurta for a friend and when he got it it was more gold colored. It wasn’t exactly what we wanted and the embroidery wasn’t quite as nice as the picture but for the price it was good. Also of the 4 matching saress my friend ordered, 3 of them matched and 1 was a slightly different color. So if you’re ordering multiple outfits that you want to match exactly I wouldn’t recoomend ordering from them because you aren’t guaranteed that they are going to match. Again for the price though, my friend was ok with the sarees being slightly different.

They made my custom blouse for the Bridesmaid or Best Man saree. The blouse fits well but it isn’t very fashionable if you know what I mean. It’s just a standard looking blouse with no added embellishment. But it was made to the exact measurements that I provided.

I’ve never order anything very expensive from them (over $100), so I might be more disappointed with the quality and finishing on the outfits if they were much pricier.

Dealing with Utsav… nightmare!

I ordered a lehenga… MY WEDDING DRESS.  Where is it? WHO KNOWS! They are currently 10 days past their 45 day shipping timeline.  When I asked the first time after they had missed the shipping deadline, they said it would take 4-5 days more.  Two days after that, it was 3-4 more days.  Then it was, “please give us 24 hours for that department to respond.” Now today, they tell me it will take 14-15 more days (so, 25 days now after it should have shipped), along with written proof that they’re lying to me in the multiple timelines they keep giving.  Did I mention that if you call in, the only information you get is “please give us 24 hours to respond?”  That’s because their customer service hours, 9-9 Pacific, are created to be ONLY during non-business hours in India… they’ll tell you they have no way of getting specific information.  It’s a LIE.  DO NOT do business with these people! You’ll never get your stuff.

This is great website.. I don’t have words to express my feelings for their great work. I ordered a bridal lehenga only 20 days before my wedding and it got delivered on time. Quality of product was very nice.. My all family members and friends shop from this website for indian dresses. Amazing collection ! Great Quality !

I ordered a salwar kameez from them. It wasn’t horrible, but the pant legs were almost two different sizes and I couldn’t get one leg in without a lot of struggle. It was a lower end one though, maybe it’s better for some of the higher end pieces?
