Hi!  I bought my first dress from there and it was not that great.  The dress came with a jacket but the colors were 2 very different whites, one was almost ivory.  The lace was melted & burned in a few spots annd the dress was a full 3 inches too short!  Also the back was supposed to be lace-up and it was a zipper.  Also, the button loops on the jacket were too small, I couldn’t button it up.

On the good side, they were friendly and responsive and the dress came quickly (30 days) and they did refund my money.

Hope that helps!

I’m posting because I have found a dress for my bridesmaids on this site and qould love to know if anyone else has had experience from there.

I actually found that they have a facebook page – so you may want to take a look on there too.  Please let me know if you end up ordering from them and how it goes.

@idamay:  Hello idamay!

I just started looking for a wedding dress and fund a beautiful one on artwedding.com…

I never ordered a dress online before so I wanted to check if anyone has experiences with that shop. Finally I found your sad story about their bad quality so I am alarmed! Could you send me some photos of the problems you had with your dress, so I can get an idea, of how bad it really is?

my email is

[email protected]

That dress looked so pretty, exactly what I was thinking of… but if it is just bad quality, I do not want to make the same mistake…

Thank you for your help,

Kathy

It may be hard to tell from the photo but the loops were tiny and would not go over the buttons.

The second picture shows the burned lace….

I don’t have a photo of the dress on but trust me, it was 3-4 inches too short!

@idamay:

Thanks for the photos and sharing your experience… I guess I have to look elsewhere…

May I ask if you finally had your dress replaced by the same shop or switched to a different more reliable online shop?

Or did you end up in a regular bridal boutique in your town?

@kathy 2012: No problem.  I ended up buying a dress from a shop.  There are lots of reviews on the Bee for replica dresses.  Dressilyme seems to have a good reputation.  You can do a search for “replica dress” or “china dress” to come up with some good information.

My elder sister got her 4 bridesmaid dresses and 1 flower girl dress from artwedding 2 month ago, and the dresses are just great. 4 bridesmaid dresses are made of satin, and the flower girl dress is made of chiffon. They both have lace details. They all have good quality(I love the flower girl dress most). Now, I want to order a prom dress for myself on this site.Embarassed

About 3 weeks ago Angkinah wrote that Artwedding has a Facebook page. They definitely do, and the fans are very interactive.   They had a contest back in April and I actually won a wedding dress!!! It is SOOOO much better than I expected. It isn’t “perfect” it’s super close!I have the recreation of an Enzoani dress. If you have ever seen the Croatia before then you’d know it was not the same dress, but it fits well, isn’t crooked or anything like that, and like I said, I didn’t have to pay for it.

I also have a close up of the front of my dress. I think that the beading is a little bit over the top for me, but they are real beads and sequin, not just sequin and silver thread. The satin is not thin costume material, which was one of my biggest fears about ordering a dress online. It’s REAL satin! Thick and durable. And you can’t tell from the picture, but it has two layers all the way around. The layer underneath is lined all the way up the inside of the dress. I don’t have the crinoline to make it fluffy yet so I had to use a chair. You can tell that I haven’t had it steamed yet either. Hehe.

Here’s the front.

@Suburoo:  DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!!!! I ordered a dress for my daughter’s wedding, and what i received was NOTHING like the picture on the website. I tried to return it, but they REFUSED to accept my return, and I am not able to get my $200 back. I have never heard of a company that refused to take returns. ANYONE THINKING ABOUT ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY, THINK AGAIN! Go with a reputable company.

1 mouth ago, I found a dress I dreamed in this site. I hesitated to buy it while reading these negative reviews as well as some good ones in other forum. After going into their Facebook Page, I decided to place the order coz my budget was a little bit tight and the dresses did not seem that bad. Today, I received the dress and I wanna say – It is gr8! I absolutely love this wedding dress!! The satin is real good and the whole design is very delicate. I took a few photos Laughing
