Men in gray! Where are you?!
My Fiance wants to do gray suits for himself and the guys. We’re doing a beach wedding in MX so we thought gray suits, white shirts, no ties, yellow poppers from emersonmade. The BMs are in deep blue…
Problem is, I can’t find any pictures of gray suits… he doesn’t want to do the khaki pants/navy suit coat route and we both don’t like linen suits. And i feel like we need to add a tie, but Fiance says no.
We told the Groomsmen (his brothers) to just bring/buy a light gray suit, but would dark gray look better? Has anyone else used gray suits and have pics to show?
Woud you use dark gray or light gray???? ties?

I think the light gray with thoes colors would look really good!
I remember seeing some photos awhile ago with gray blue & pink!

I’m doing navy blue BMs and dark gray on the guys but I don’t have any pics yet. Suffice to say, it looks good in my mind 🙂

My FH is wearing a grey suit from J.Crew. The suit looks much darker in the catalogue than in real life. I think grey w/ white shirts & no tie will look super great.
We got FH’s suit 30% off and then he opened a J.Crew account to receive addition % off (I don’t remember what % that was.)
Here is the best pic of the suit w/ tie we’re having – NOTE: THIS IS NOT MY FH lol…

We had lt. grey tux’s rented from a local tux shop. It was approx. $90 per groomsman and it was free for my husband. Here is a picture of them walking down the aisle. My husband in the ivory tie in front and the groomsman in the yellow behind. We looked at the grey tux’s available at Men’s Wearhouse and we did not like them. They had an iridecent/shiny look to them. Try and fine a few local formalwear shops. A lot cheaper than the guys having to buy their own suit.

We did gray pants/suit vests for the groomsmen with white shirts and yellow ties, and I think they looked great! My hubby wore a black suit. It might be hard to find light gray right now for October though. We let everyone buy their own pants and vest, naturally most of them waited until the last minute and had a hard time finding it in June. A lot of suiting is going to be in darker fall/winter colors now.

Thank you ALL for the gray suit pictures!!! I feel so much better. I like how both the light gray and dark gray look, so we’ll just see what my Fiance finds. The JCrew suit is sharp and I love their menswear.
@miss.skinner – your guys looks very handsome!
@miss.cardigan – I like that look too! I wish my Fiance would wear the vest 🙂
Thanks to all for sharing 🙂

i heart the grey suits as well that’s what we’re doing bc khaki is all wrong for winter and we’re in the afternoon so black wouldn’t do either..
i found some great grey suits the other days while i was in JcPenney’s I love them because they’re more affordable than other places though there was one I adored at Men’s Wearhouse

My Fiance is wearing a medium gray suit with a silver silk tie and peacock blue pocket square. Really sleek, simple, classic. I love gray suits!

I love grey suits and will try to convince FH to wear one at our wedding.

I love grey suits! My SO has a light grey suit he wears to work and it looks great on him! Stark black looks kinda bad on him since he is very fair and has light blonde hair and blue eyes. It’s very versatile and can be dressed up or dressed down really easily.
