@adoc86:  I use obagi clenziderm. I never had acne my entire life, and when I got into my jr. year of college, the stress broke me out HORRIBLY. I mean cystic looking acne all over the sides of my face like you’ve never seen before. I tried multiple things, and nothing worked. Then I heard about obagi.. at first I thought the price was outrageous, but I was desperate and  it was totally WORTH it. It cleared my face up at least 95%. I still get the occasional zit, but nothing like it was. I highly reccomend obagi!! I’ve heard the other lines are just as great! I think you should give it a try!

I swear this isn’t a marketing push but I just went to a skin care party at a friends hous. And the products were amazing!! They are all from Dead Sea minerals and the Dead Sea mud. They had  some awesome stories acures how much it has helped various skin issues like acne, eczema, psoriasis etc. I would definitely look into it if I was you! It’s called Seacret. I could probably even find an agent in your area to come do a party for you f you wanted to try it out!

@adoc86:  what did you buy?? is it a tretinion cream???

I scar so easily when I get a pimple. Recently i was getting cystic acne that left terrible scars and the obagi blender worked SO good at fading my scars. I love it, and I am curious about the other products obagi carries. I bet they are all awesome.

@adoc86:  I also have tretinion cream and it is INTENSE stuff!!! If you use too much too fast, you will hate it. And you will probably stop using it. It will most certainly make your skin red, dry, and peel. My skin would peel off and it was disgusting. I would only using a pea size amount every 3 days, and LOAD on a very good cream on top of the tretinion cream. That is so so so important. There is so much info on the net about the tretinion cream (known as Retin A), and when using the cream, cut WAY back on exfoliating. There is a reason this cream is prescribed by doctors only, it is crazy stuff.

@adoc86:  I had been exposed to face washes previously before it.. so I can’t be sure if it would have made me react differently had I of not been. I did experience some burning for the first week (but only upon application) my face would just sting a little but would go away after 20 minutes or so. I experienced a bit of dryness, but never huge flakes of skin falling off or anything crazy like that. It was also nothing that a good moisturizer couldn’t fix. I HIGHLY reccomend CerVae cream moisturizer. It’s in a big tub. I get compliments on my skin all the time now thanks to Obagi 🙂

Another note… you may wanna hop on Amazon and type in whichever Obagi you are thinking about buying or have already bought. The hundreds of successful amazon reviews is what made me purchase it in the first place.

I have used Obagi for years and it has been great for me. I recommend you buy online, it will be much cheaper than purchasing from a doctor or medspa. The products last me for a lost time so the price is definitely worth it.

I worked for a Dermatologists office that sold obagi products.  Half of the products are just prescription creams that you can purchase through your phamacy at a fraction of the price.  For instance their tretinion is the same thing you can buy at with a prescription at costco for $35.  The blender and clear are hydroquinone which is 20$ at the pharmacy.  I’m not sure what derms office you bought it at but the kit retails for 220$ w. tret.  The office I worked at upcharged the system at 110% profit.  There really is nothing special about the toner or facial wash.  The sunscreen is just a sensitive skin sunscreen with zinc.   Our derms would write scripts to us in the office for the products at the pharm and told us to use cetaphil for face wash to receive the same results at a tenth of the price.  Be prepared you will get VERY red and there will be peeling.

Edit:  Derms office push the products because the obagi line will send perks to the office for so many kits purchased and sold.  We receieved free kits, lunchboxes, products,  clarisonic imitation products, shirts and pants, catered lunches Etc.  You can get the same results without spending $400 for the kit.

@adoc86:  My doctor said every other day for me to use it but I didn’t like how red and dry my skin felt so I cut back. But different needs for everyone I guess! Keep us updated with how the Obagi works for you!!! Good luck!
