I personally wouldn’t start using them on CD 6. I would start around CD 10-12 especially if you know they are longer. I think I tried every brand and I know some of them have to be used within a certain number of days that they are open so you may end up buying more than 1 pack per month if you haven’t gotten your surge yet.

My cycles were all over the place and I never get a positive test. My surge may have just been to short, but my charts made me think I wasn’t ovulation.

I have 40 day cycles, so yeah I guess Im irregular.

I bought these Woldof ovulation strips, that were 50 for 12 bucks.

So as soon as I finished my period I started peeing on them everyday.

If I dont get pregnany on this cycle, I now know to start peeing on them on day 18 which is when I started noticing the lines a little darker. I also noticed my cervical fluid as well.

According to my period charts online I Ovulate on CD 23. But Im still peeing on those sticks everyday so I know for myself when its time.

I used it for about 6 months.  I kind of liked it, but not enough.  I agree to start later if you are sure you ovulate later…  I think any kind of ovulation tests can be frustrating if your cycles are longer.  If you have any specific questions about it, PM me.

I used it, but it was REALLY frustrating for me, since my cycles were long and irregular. Plus, I was spending a fortune on sticks for it. If you’re regular, it’s great!

@Sea_bass:  Definitely give it a try. The months I DID ovulate (like, 2 of them) it picked it up well. It was AWESOME finally seeing the peak appear!
