@LTD418:  I had seperation anxiety so bad I got a “stunt ring” so I wouldn’t feel so naked… it didn’t help as much as I wanted.

@LTD418:  if you want to be silly, you can draw it back on your finger. Or go buy some ridiculous cheapy ring (cz or whatever fun thing you can find)- until you have your special one back. So far I have not had to miss my E-ring, but I did have to miss my promise ring a few times for sizing. It is very weird not wearing a ring, you are used to wearing.

@LTD418:  I would definitely get a stand-in.  Go for a dream ring look-alike!

Yes, I’m so sad when my precious is away! I didn’t want a cz stand in, but I wanted something on that finger so I bought a 2mm rose gold band. It’s so pretty, and my e-ring looks sooo blingy and impressive by comparison when I get to switch them back. But YES, I feel just the same way when it’s gone. Never thought I’d be so attached to a little hunk of metal and rock.

It always makes me bummed.  You’d think I sent my kid to summer camp.

I bought a little sparkly band to wear while mine is away – and it actually makes me feel like my diamond is bigger when it comes back because I have NOT been wearing anything but a band while it’s been gone.

Jedi Mind Tricks.   😉

Yep, I just dropped off my engagement ring at the store to be redipped and one of the stones to be raised, and though I have my wedding band to wear (we got married already), it feels so weird!
