Does anyone watch these shows?
Is it just me or is anyone else wondering why the heck Klaus would be so concerned with “taking back” new orleans if Silas is trying to “drop the veil” still?
It seems like he needs to get his priorities straight lol

@RedPandas: I havent seen the new vamp diaries. but I know in the originals he is trying to take control of new orleans…

@RedPandas: Hahaha yesss. I found myself wondering the same thing. Taking back New Orleans < dropping the veil.
I’m a big fan of Vampire Diaries but I don’t think that TO’s plot makes much sense in the context of TVD’s plot.

I just watch them as two seperate TV shows anddon’t pay much attention what is happening on one vs. the other. But to be honest, Klaus has always been selfish so no, it doesn’t really suprise me that taking over NOLA is his priority.

I am a HUGE vampire diaries fan. Haven’t seen the originals yet though

Yeah I agree. I’m liking the originals overall but I find it a bit funny.
I don’t understand why Marcelle would want Davina to find a way to kill the originals. I thought when an original dies all vampires that were made from their line of blood die as well. Therefore Marchelle would die too?

I love VD and I’m enjoying The Originals. Klaus is my favorite character, but I do miss the days when he was purely a villain – he was more fun then.

@RedPandas: well, in his defense, Marcelle might not be caught up on the last couple seasons of The Vampire Diaries. In the next episode we’ll learn he just subscribed to Netflix and is only on Season 2.

@RedPandas: +1 Wouldn’t Marcel die if Klaus dies? Unless he’s trying to kill everyone Klaus loves?
And I don’t understand why Marcel hates Rebekah so much? She was daggered for 52 years. I feel like something relating to their Dad has something to do with it but I don’t know.
The Originals is an okay show but IDK, I don’t understand Davina at all. Why does she hate the other witches? How come she has so much power?
I find TVD to be sort of annoying, introducing even more supernatural characters..I haven’t seen this week’s episode yet.

I liked this week’s episode of VD. It was more about the history of what’s happened and you learn more about some of the new characters. I thought it filled some of the gaps (but also made things more complex/confusing) lol
@abirdword: yes, perhaps that’s why.. he better catch up soon haha!
