I’m not personally invested in either team, but I did spend my college years in Michigan so I’m going to root for the Tigers. Plus, the Tigers haven’t won a World Series since ’84 and I like rooting for the underdogs (hey, I’m a Brewers fan, what else can I say?)
Hoping this will be an exciting series!

As a bay area bee I have no choice but to root for the Giants….and it is impossible to avoid the game. Even during my pedicure today it was on. While I don’t care really I do love the boost to our local economy.

Not watching, but my husband is fervently posting updates on twitter while he’s at work. I’ll root for the Giants though, because Buster Posey is nice to look at.

A Michigan girl, born and raised. I even have a big ol’ 90s Detroit Tigers bow hiding somewhere.
Plus if I wasn’t for the tigers, SO’s roommates would tear me to little bits and shreds…

I hope the Tigers win because, correct me if I’m wrong — they haven’t won in a long time?? I’d like to see them win it.
I am a Cardinals fan and literally cried after how horrible they played the last 3 games of the NLCS. The Giants totally deserve the win..They wanted it way more than the Birds did.
Anyway, I want the Tigers to win but I have a feeling it’ll be the Giants. I didn’t catch the end of the game but last I saw they were like, 6 to 1 or something.
ETA: Buster Posey is a hottie! But can’t get over his name.

@StuporDuck: buster posey is my favorite player!
my SO is a huge giants fan (he’s from the bay area) so I have no choice but to cheer for the giants!

I only semi-playing attension. My team (the Braves) are already out so I don’t care as much anymore.

I hate baseball. It’s so boring, unless you’re at a game.
But I live near Detroit. Go Tigers!!

I stopped watching when the Red Sox made fools of themselves 🙁 jkjk no but seriously I have no clue who I want to win! I was just happy to see the Yankee’s get swept! So I guess because of that I want the Tigers to win!

I’m defintely rooting for the Giants! I’ve been an avid fan since my first baseball game.

My entire fb feed is blogged up with posts about the Tigers – although last night a little less so, the final score was pretty painful.

I didn’t even know what teams were in the World Series until I opened this thread…
