My dress is champagne with white lace overlay. It was actually one of my “musts” when dress shopping… I knew I wanted an off-color dress.

Haven’t picked THE dress yet, but I do know one thing: It won’t be white! I love the way light gold and champagne colored dresses look and that’s been one of my requirements since day one.

Also, I wanted to chime in and agree with all the other PPs about wearing whatever dress and color you feel beautiful in. It’s your special day and you’ll be happy and radiant and beautiful. There’s no way you’ll blend in with the crowd or your bridesmaids 🙂

Champagne!

Also, the stores I looked at had lots of blush and champagne (and other colours too!) options. I would go to the bridal shops and see what they have if you’re worried about looking like a bridesmaid in an evening dress. Many of the dressmakers offer their dresses in different colour options. David Tutera, Sophia Tolli, and Mori Lee all have a wide variety of dresses in colours.

Wear whatever makes you feel beautiful that day. I always saw myself wearing white and I picked a gold dress. I think anything goes these days!

My dress is that pinky brownish nude color and I love it can’t wait to see it with all the alterations finished…ill be wearing a very nude veil as well. I wanted a blush pink one just couldn’t find what I was looking for.

Kimmypossible:  I originally wanted to wear blue, but I fell in love with a champagne and gold dress. Do what makes you feel beautiful! It’s your day to make your own rules 🙂

I am also wearing a black gown! I have just started the process of retreiving price quotes on having a replica made. But the moment I saw this picture I knew it was the dress for me!

I wore a blush wedding dress for the ceremony and first half of the reception, then changed (because my dress was so uncomfortable) into a red lace dress for the rest of the night. I loved wearing both dresses.

Wear whatever color you love!

legojedi:  Thank you! Very flattering but I have not been as good on exercising as I should be these days. My work involves a lot of walking and I do basic stuff at home with weights like weighted squats and lunges.
