HAHA, I remember this being mentioned on an old episode of CSI, but I didn’t realize it was becoming a “thing”.

@jbbk:  I honesty, I don’t think people are making a judgement toward people with incontinence issues.  I think that generally people are apaulled and disgusted that someone would be so lazy to not take your dress off all day just because it was a struggle to do so.  I think if this thread was along the lines of – “I’ve just been diagnosed with bladder cancer or stress incontinence and may have to wear a diaper” people would be more supportive.  You’re right, some of these comments are silly, but I personally think that the comments are directly specifically at the use of a diaper “for convienience” on your wedding day.

I have never had to deal with incontinence, but some of these comments do seem a little insensitive. It is a very taboo issue which many people face, and I am sure we should try to be a little more sensitive to other people’s issues.

I honestly don’t think I’d actually be able to go in a diaper in front of people.. even if they didn’t know about it 🙂

Not because I think it’s gross, but because I’ve been conditioned since a young child to not pee except on a toilet.

After reading some responses, I guess this would be something only for a few brides. I would definitely do it and will. After my child (at 23), my already non-compliant bladder became even more demanding. They are not saggy, baggy, leaky or uncomfortable, as I have worn them previously on numerous occasions when a bathroom is not around the corner. I am also a nurse and you can get all types of these undergarments all over the place, online etc…I use Northshore Supplier (even Walmart). Patients and millions of babies don’t complain about pee in a diaper, I would’nt recommend them for anything else unless there was a real disability issues present.  My girlfriend wore some last year at her wedding, at my advice, and she loved it and used it. There was no leaking and she was able to change when the timing was more convenient.  She also wore a small white plastic pant over because she was afraid of leaking, but she said there was none.  You really should’nt judge w/o trying it yourself.  I use them at Disneyland, Knott’s, theaters, long car drives, flights,  etc…and always am glad for it.  I will be wearing some on my second wedding end of this year with some plastic bikini panties from adult cloth diaper. I don’ have a real medical need, but my doctor knows and says its no big deal. I dont know why so many people have such an aversion to this; is it taboo or did they have harsh childhoods; who knows.
