@jenguy5:  Wow. You’re is amazing too! It’s just like you say: it’s simple and elegant but has a fun look to it. That’s what I was looking for. Something beautiful, but fun!

What changes are you doing? I will definitely post the final product once it’s in and altered!

@seatxbee:  Thank you! I am having the “fan” ruffles on the top tucked and pinned so it isn’t as noticeable, I like the look of the smooth sweetheart neckline at the top and didn’t like how the ruffles changed the shape of the top of the dress. It is so hard to picture how it is going to look! I also bought a different sash..it is black but is a bit thicker and has two small flowers on it. I ordered it on etsy and couldn’t be happier with it! I am having it sewn onto the dress so I don’t have to worry about it coming untied.

When did you order yours? I CANNOT wait for mine to come in and I just ordered it about a month ago…they told me 4-6 months!

@jenguy5:  That sounds like it’s going to be super pretty. Mineis supposed to arrive in mid to late April. Wedding is in mid August. Hopefully that’s enough time! I’m most worried about undergarments now! The dress has a pretty low back and I have a very hard to find bra size. Not sure what I’ll do :/. I’ve nevet really worn a strapless. I’ll either sew in a strapless or wear one of those longline bras. hoping that it’ll work out!

@seatxbee:  My wedding is late August so I’m in the same boat as you! lol The consultant advised me to have cups sewn in instead of wearing a bra. Mine has the low back as well and she said it is much more comfortable and I will probaby already be warm wearing the dress. That’s always another option for you ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck!

Did any of you have the hollow to hem measuring done? They didn’t do it for me and I just realized that. Now I’m worried because I’m really short!

@seatxbee:  I had mine done – but for the opposite reason, because I’m quite tall. I had to get some extra length added. I *believe* that the standard hollow to hem is around 59″ on all their dresses. I ordered a 61″. If your dress is too long, they could also put some crinolin under to take up some of the length depending on the style of your dress maybe?

@LeanneJoy:  I do know that I’ll need have the skirt taken up. I am just worried that the bodice will sit in the wrong place and be disproportionate. Do you know what I mean? (I’m 5’2″) Ugh. I just have to keep my fingers crossed I suppose!

@seatxbee:  I’m sure it will work out fine! ๐Ÿ™‚ They must alter dresses to that length all the time ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck! Which dress did you order??
