I am a signature galina sv415 bride and I tried on the dress in ivory but ordered it in white.. Im really pressed for time- Wedding is in May of this year so canceling my order is really not an option – I would love to see pics of brides in white dresses
I just want to calm my fears and know that other people are wearing white

why are you second guessing this? I loved my white dress (not the best pic but I am having problems uploading some of my pics so I am just using ones that are in “my queue”) 🙂
I am sure you will look beautiful in your white dress.

This is my sister in her white dress . . . she’s pretty pale naturally and I think it still worked!

I bought my dress off the rack. Its VERY white. I believe its called Bright White. While I would probably have chosen Ivory if I had special ordered it the dress is amazing and i saved $700…so well worth the VERY white dress.
Its a wedding, I doubt anyone is going to say “Oh, her dress is too white” (…ok well they might, but not in the way we’re talking lol)
I’m rather fair with reddish undertones to my hair…everything I’ve read says I should not wear white. It looks great. Its my wedding dress. My white wedding dress. Also, a co-worker of mine (a true irish redhead) has a dress that may just be whiter than mine, it looks AMAZING!
I doubt the colour of the dress will really ever grace your thoughts once its all said and done (even in pictures).
I say don’t worry about it. Accent your beauty with colour elsewhere!

Mine was “silk white” (similiar to “diamond white”).

I don’t know why you are second guessing wearing white. White is the traditional color of gown for brides….
Here is me wearing my white gown at one of my fittings.

I guess im second guessing because all the bridal magazines say that i should not being wearing white because of my light skin tone.. I guess ivory is the color according to them.. But you guys all look beautiful in white .. Hopefully mine will be the same

This is my dress and its ivory on the model and they only have it in ivory at Davids Bridal.. So hopefully white will look just as nice too

I’m incredibly pale, and mine is white. I don’t have any pics yet, but I thought ivory actually washed me out more. It was too close to my skin tone.

I’m pale and looked washed out in ivory so it may be an unexpected improvement! I looked best in “soft white.” I think it’ll be fine!

There’s usually such a small difference between white and ivory that I don’t think it matters one bit. Mine’s diamond white, but I have no clue what color that actually is, lol.

IT really depends on your skin tone and coloring, so a white dress will flatter some women better than others

I think it will look great in white, but not so good when you go climbing hall cupboards – i would stick to ground level! (i really hope the model is climbing a hall cupboard in that photo! and im not just going blind!)
Dress is gorgeous! I love love love the skirt!
