I had a diamond white dress and I am very fair with blonde hair and blue eyes! I liked the ivory too though! The colour differences between white, diamond white and ivory were sooooo subtle.

I had a similar situation to lots of others above. I have fairly light skin and I looked TERRIBLE in ivory. It completely washed me out and just blended in with my skin too much. So I got white and it looks so much better! It gives my skin the look of extra colour (I nno longer look dead/ghostly) and the white looks so much cleaner. Don’t stress! White will look beautiful!

@Kati_Did: I am the same and felt the same way! I always thought I’d go straight to ivory… but hello yellow! Didn’t work for me. By The Way you look gorgeous!

do you like how you look in other white clothes? if so, then you should look fine in your white dress!

if you try on your dress and you don’t like the color, would you be open to changing other things– such as trying to get a bit of a tan, or adjusting your makeup?

Origionally I wanted white… and am still kinda bummed it isn’t. But I could only get my dress in ivory. It is a light ivory though, so, close enough! I love your guys’ white dresses though!

I initially bought an ivory dress with gold beading…  Since spray tanning didn’t work out, I’d be all one level of darkness.  (I’m REALLY pale, and my blond hair is the same color as the true-ivory with gold beading.)  Then my “daffodil” colored flower-girl’s dress came in…  and it was at least as pale as my dress.  The color of my dress made me uncomfortable enough I ended up looking for another one.

The second one ended up being my very-white dream dress (I only hope it looks good on me), and I can re-wear it.

Hello Girls!

Keramia! I would LOVE to buy your dress, after you wedding of course.  It is spectacularly beautiful. Enjoy your day and your dress.
