So I ordered the Maggie Sottero Chesney online after trying it on in the store. The woman who helped me mistakenly said that the color was “ivory lace over champagne”…well once I got the dress I realized that it was “ivory over ivory” that I had tried on. I feel like the dress I have washes me out since I’m so pale! So if there is anyone on here who owns the Chesney, or something similar, and would be willing to sell it, let me know! I’ve checked Tradesy and Stillwhite and will continue to check, but thought I’d put it out here as well! Here’s the color I wanted:
I don’t need the top piece, just the strapless dress. I wear a size 4/6 in normal dresses, sometimes an 8 in dressy pants (but I’m a 4 or 6 in Gap jeans, to put things in perspective). So I’d probably need an 8, but would be fine buying a 10 and having it taken in. I’m 5’9″ so I’d need a dress that hasn’t been shortened. If by random chance someone has the ivory over ivory and wants to trade, I’d be down to swap! Is anyone out there willing to sell their dress?
Or if you see my shape, and think you may have a dress that would look good on me, I’m totally down for other options!
