Your ring is lovely! No one ever comments on my e-ring.

Thank you!!! It is quite literally better than the rings I had picked out for myself to show him an example. I hate the “trained” thing too. He is just really good at shopping, enlisted my best friend for confirmation and overall knows my taste, but I sure as hell didn’t train him into a certain diamond size or something stupid.

dismiss the dumb comments, it’ll pass with time adriannamonet :

I can relate to the whirlwind of people’s reactions to your ring. Its a sapphire and unique style halo. I haven’t gotten any bad reactions and no one has really said anything negative but it sparkles like crazy and sometimes catches attention and I have gotten the stink-eye and looked up and down by a few women I’ve caught staring at my ring. It’s sad that something that is supposed to symbolize love has become a marker of social status or jealousy.  Your ring is absolutely gorgeous and regal. Anyone that says anything different is just not being very nice. Don’t let people like that change your happiness 🙂 happy planning!

I totally agree this sets off people’s issues about status. My ring is quite smaller than yours and people have still made negative comments about it being a waste of money or that I should of just been happy with wearing a plain wedding band like they have. It is definitely rude to make a bride feel like she doesn’t deserve the ring she was given. But people can be rude…

You deserve to have a ring you like and can afford. Don’t let other people’s issues get under your skin.

I have a HG too! My ring is the heiress. Granted i’ve only had it a few days and haven’t officially announced yet but the reactions in person have all been good! My best friend put it on and was like “I WANT AN UPGRADE”  I have a .50 carat so probably pretty similar in overall size to yours!

Now that I own it I wouldn’t dream of having another engagment ring. I’m prepared for a few weird reactions just because it’s so unique but I love it and that’s all that matters. People can f – off. Your ring is STUNNING. The cambria is soooooo beautiful and it looks amazing on your hand! As long as you love it that really is all that should matter to you!

Just here to say that your ring is jaw dropping beautiful! I’d love to see that beauty in person. I’m sorry you’ve dealt with some senseless people and their comments… shake em off as best as you can. Your ring rocks 🙂

People will always have their own opinions and are entitled to them. Similarly there will always be people who are rude and/or unthinking and decide to share their opinion with you. Don’t stress it give it a moment’s thought – you love the ring and the majority of people will also recognise its beauty – you just can’t please all of the people all of the time. But do what – wear your gorgeous ring with pride.

adriannamonet :  I find so many rings ugly but yours is honestly gorgeous! I wouldn’t get it for myself but I can admire how stunning it is. I Think people are just jealous honestly, because there’s no reason to make a comment like that otherwise, especially if you love it. I wouldn’t worry about them!

It’s the right thing in this moment, for you. Don’t dwell on others’ opinions. 🙏

Wow your ring is BEAUTIFUL! I wouldn’t choose that style myself but it looks stunning on you! Looks like a match made in heaven to me!

I haven’t had any negative comments but my Mum did say ‘oh’ and her tone changed when I told her it was a Moissanite, not a diamond. That sort of sucked a little but I love my ring and I wouldn’t change the centre stone at all!
