owls :  I hate the word ‘gaudy’, too!  I have big hands, dammit! 🤣  I might wear them even if I didn’t! 😍💍

adriannamonet :  Your ring is beyond gorgeous, I love Heidi’s work.! And you have very pretty hands, which money cannot buy! LOL.

I think it’s normal to get mixed reactions to e-rings, and they do trigger people’s social anxieties. There is only one question, DO YOU LOVE IT?

My e-ring is a 1.5ct OEC moissanite and I’ve had lots of flattering comments. I really wanted an 8mm OEC though, so now I am swapping ot out because I orignally went with the smaller stone because I wanted to avoid being asked “is that real??”. Now I realise that most people don’t know enough to question anyway, and I am taking my own advice and having the ring that I always wanted.

adriannamonet :  I absolutely love to see people’s rings, especially if they were picked out by the couple together or hand designed. It shows the personality of the fiancée and shows me a little bit about who they are and what they find beautiful. I don’t always want to rip it off their finger, stick it on my own hand, and run away with it. But that’s only because people have such a variety of tastes. And that is what is good and special about rings! That is what makes it so amazing.

A decade ago, we only had the same 20 options at local jewelers. Now, people can have gemstones of their favorite color or meaning, designs from all over the world and imaginative designers that make their heart go pitter pat.

Your ring won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, and if you picked one that really reflects who you are, it SHOULDN’T be! That means you did a great job being true to you.

HG are such ornate, almost vintage style rings that perhaps your friends have never seen anything like kit before. That’s fabulous! Share with them something new and grow their horizons. Don’t let anyone be a thief of your joy or force you to question your version of beautiful.

I don’t understand why people find it appropriate to say any negative comments about ones engagement ring. If you don’t like something, don’t say anything and just congratulate the bride to be.

No one else wears your ring or stares at your ring more than you do (and potentially your FH). Enjoy this beautiful ring that symbolizes your love and your relationship, and also your personal taste.

Your bling is gorgeous Bee !

yaara :  I think rose cut diamonds and gems are stunning and unique, there’s something nostalgic and antique about it.

adriannamonet :  I love seeing those baguettes on rings, it reminds me of a snowflake or an ice castle.
