I was diagnosed with hyperemesis around weeks 8-9 and was extremely sick until weeks 16-18 when improvements started. I’ve been managing my diagnoses with Zofran every day and still take it at 23 weeks. I still throw up every morning, but the rest of my day is perfectly fine as long as I take the Zofran – I’ve learned the hardway what happens if I don’t take it (super nauseas and usually end up throwing up all day).

As a side note – I was down 18lbs by week 16 due to all of this. I’ve put back on all but about 5-7lbs now.

@Mrsluckywife:  If it wasn’t for the Zofran I wouldn’t be getting through it. I had a stint in the ER due to dehydration early on (when I got my HG diagnosis). I just have to take everything one day at a time and really appreciate the good days. Thankfully I have a very understanding boss and excellent neighbors that have been a huge support for me.
