I don’t have a ring yet. But my fingers are pretty darn short. And kinda pudgy. I can get three rings between 1 and 2mm without it looking overwhelming. So I’d say 4-5mm would look good.

its definitely the slender rings together that look good.

I have very short fingers and I often wear a costume set from my grandmother that’s only 6mm across (2 rings, 3mm each) and I feel like there is NO way I could fit another ring on there comfortably ๐Ÿ™

Even though each ring by itself feels great, putting them both together makes it slightly too tight on my size 8 finger too.  My ring finger is 2.5 inches long and from the base to my first knuckle is only 1/2 inch long, leaving very little room… I’m planning on a 1.5mm wide ering and 2mm or less band, and MAYBE a 2mm or less anniversary band in the future.

Awww, you can squeeze another one or two in there. Do it! Do it! ๐Ÿ˜‰  I’ve got a few 1.5mm stackers and that helps since I run out of space around 10mm or so.

Here’s a five stack from the other day:

Depending upon the weather or water retention, it might feel a bit snug to have so many. Also if I’ve got a boatload of transcriptions to type I’ll keep it to 6mm or so. Otherwise, I rock my celebration stack however I feel like.

Most days I can only stack 3 comfortably, unless it’s really cold. But if I had longer fingers, I would stack a million of them! I LOVE the look. Here’s my rare “four ring day” and  dream! ;)!

I completely sympathise since my fingers looks like little stumps hahaha. I loooooooove solitaires and stacks but I feel like both looks don’t really suit me. Even a 1mm band with two 2-2.5mm rings looked super crowded on my finger, IMO.

My solution is to think of stacks as “sometimes” looks and not wear them every day. I’m still engaged so I haven’t started wearing a second ring yet, but I’ve thought about it a lot! I plan to get a wedding band to wear with my halo engagement ring on normal days and spice up the look with extra bands on days when I’m dressed up and want something more elaborate. ๐Ÿ™‚

heputaringonit:  honestly the best thing you can do is get a bunch of cheapo rings from khols or etsy and just figure out your limit.

I don’t typically stack rings anymore, my fingers are also short. I can wear about 4 bands depending on the width, but 3 is most comfortable. Here are some of my stacking combos I’ve done.
